Well, as far as the competition is concerned, I hope that Seito walks away the victor (but I may be a little partial )

But there is one thing that bothers me, how are the vids going to be judged, I mean, when it comes to angles and length of drifts the AWD will just anihalate all, but smooth exits and links the MR will probably be able to take that one, it's almost like comparing Apples and Oranges. This is going to be an interesting battle.

PROPS!

The judges understand that 4wd has an advantage, and things like control will differentiate. Smoke doesnt count for much, but in my view its not really the amount, but the consistency, the length, and where it arises from and how. Smoothness is most important... Angle is also in 4wd favor, but we all know that 4wd can have awesome angles, and we expect extreme angles, without it mr angles would have to be judged better.

It can't be done!
Just keep trying. Once you get used to the course, it's actually quite easy to link the whole thing, with any car.;)

Furthermore, I think having a battle between MR and AWD, of different HP's, with the current point system, is innacurate, and unfair IMHO. Like previously stated, it's like comparing apples and oranges. They drift utilizing different techniques, and look completely different in the replay. A FR vs. MR makes more sense IMO.;)

And what is your opinion regarding the current status of GTPDC? Where different cars and hp are used? Its the same thing...:)

I think Silvia drifter brought up this point before and i think it might be wise to incorporate. I think i added it into the judging rules and stuff that unless otherwise noted byt he participants that it would be unfair to use different drivetrains as some kind of surprise... I dont think that enough people are invovled in the GTPDC to break it up into rear wheel drive and 4wd...

I think it should be broke up into different drivetrains, but as bengee stated, there's not enough people who participate in the GTPDC to make that work. People, go out and get capture cards, so we can make this a more fair system. ;)

Thus, the use of different drivetrains put more strain on the judges - but they've been competant in the past - so it wouldn't be anything new to them - I would think :)

But I do second the motion of different drivetrains also..:)

If only there were more ppl... We might only have one entrant into a certain drivetrain... and even two would not really be enough

I much prefer Midfield II over I. It looks more impressive in the replays too IMHO. ;)
