GTP Challenge: The Prime. v. BreakerOhio

Congratulations The Prime. You are the winner. Just so anyone who watches the videos understands the scoring by individual judges... All judges took into account that The Prime left the track and all penalized him point wise in some way. HOwever as the rules say nothing about this being against the rules his disqualification was unjustifiable... as things like this occur the rules will be improved upon... as is likely to occur in this case... It was a good first part of hte competition...

The fastest time was 1'40.xxx and the slower time was 1'45.xxx. An average time of 1'43 is fine by me for a timed exhibition drift lap under this value... The same judges will judge this competition...


Okay guys, This one is a bit different, because its Racing Drift. Most regular rules apply but some special ones will be listed below.

When you want to turn in your entries, please upload it to either pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP and only give the judges the link to the videos and as soon as they are evaluated, then the links will be made public to promote fairness in these challenges.

When the video is uploaded please PM the head judge [Bengee] with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded so the judges will know to check there PMs...

The car: rx7 from arcade on "drift" settings
The track: Trial Mountain I

IMPORTANT NEW POINT SYSTEM FOR THIS CHALLENGE ONLY:
Speed - 10 points
Control (line and smooth exit/entrance) - 10 points
Time-10 points
style-5 points

The video must include the steering wheel, speedometer, T times, and lap time.

After the results of this battle I suggest that we average out our two times and then do another battle where we drift exhibition or race when necessary to finish before the average time calculated from our first battle.

This way, we will both know our limits...if we have enough time to pull long drifts or if we are concerned for time and need to minimize smoke and just get 4 wheel drift going.

sounds good, but the fact that you already have ur vid done worries me. Did you already have a saved fastest lap replay?
 
fastest lap... we need some drifting in that lap my friends or you will not win...

When you recieve my file you will see that the file creation date was that night. I don't waste time saving an A class RACE drifting around trail mountain into my already full memory card. If anything I would only save fastest grip laps or best exhibition runs. :)
I assure you that I made the video that night.

I did my first battle in 1 day also. Driftz260 challenged me on Cote D Azar and he demanded that I had the video that same night of the battle conversation...I provided it the next day but had the run completed that night....that was crazy. http://www.freewebs.com/monkeyd/events.htm

forget sector times... as long as you show the t times and lap time it will be fine... we will eyeball it

Just make sure you turn on all options in the reply options. The T times will show up. ALL Options: this includes pedal pressure, wheel, speed, etc.

I left nothing off.
