Although I'm new to the forums I have been playing GT5 for a couple months and have an interesting idea for online races. Instead of limiting cars by their power, tires, ect., why not do it by price? Figure out what car has the best bang for the buck? It'll be like a Top Gear challenge except with less breaking down! And to make it a real challenge, I'm limiting the budget to $20k. Any money left over can be used to modify and tune your car. Changing the oil counts as a mod!
I will host online races specifically for this purpose, and I'm interested in what you GT veterans will bring to the table. If you want to participate, you must list your car's info in this thread. Please include what car it is (duh), how much it cost, how much it cost with all mods included, how many miles it has, how many PP it has before and after modifying, and all mods it has. I will lead by example:
1999 Nissan Silvia spec-R Aero (S15)
Cost: 13,972
Cost w/ mods: 19,822
Mileage: 65002km
PP: 408
PP w/ mods: 440
Mods: Oil change, sports exhaust, sports catalytic converter, race air filter, ECU tuning, sports flywheel, and a single plate clutch.
For the first race I think we'll use a track that tests every aspect of a car's performance: The Nurburgring! The date and time will be posted when I get a general idea of how many people want to do this.
