The F-100... The pickup that could do just about anything in mid-to-late 1950's America. And now, it's a proper classic, complete with cool colour choices, and (when it's done right) proper modifications. It's another example of a perfect blank canvas; you can do a full restoration by the numbers, or turn your working pick-up into a hot rod. You could add chrome to it, or remove all of it. And many other things like that.

It's just a carefree car, one that, despite being rather common, can still draw the eyes of many car people. I'm risking a fridge for it, because most of the pictures of this car just show how pretty it can be when done right.

I like it, but I can't help but see a redneck next to this car, and rednecks are seriously uncool. However, I only give it an uncool because it's a classic truck.

One of America's icons. Some can look even better when modified properly.

Cool.

Probably the coolest pick-up to come out of the States. Some of the restored examples look great.

Still can't shake off the agricultural image though. Uncool.

Very nice styling, an American icon. Not obnoxious at all, and very cool when customized. High cool in stock form.

Perhaps I'm going mad, but the front really reminds me of the brain bug from Starship Troopers:

^Bonus pic includes my alleged doppelgänger (the one in the coat, not the one in the net.)

I still find the F100 very charming though, and - if I lived in the States at least - I'd be very tempted by one.

Cool, because of what Wolfe said. It's a clean and classic look with a purposeful design.

I also think it looks way better than a lot of the pickup trucks that came along after it.
