Like that Suzuki thing, you'd look like a massive dork getting out of one of these. Seriously uncool.
 
Saw one parked in the street years ago and recently saw a silver T87 in a museum, these cars with their rear-engined aircooled V8's were basically the blueprint for anything Ferdinand Porsche ever designed (he basically stole Hans Ledwinka's design).
Having said that, I'd love the way this car looks and think it's cool even if it were a 4-cylinder FF (like a Citroën DS) and recent prices for these cars suggest I'm not alone.
I'll have a black one though for that full 60's Cold War vibe.
 
I swear I've voted on this car already, yet here it is again, with a much more positive outlook then before too.

Seriously uncool, amazingly uncool. It's hard to achieve this level of total dissatisfaction with a car. For every part of it to be truly unappealing, its actually so bad, its impressive.

White wall tyres, bonnet mounted mirrors, two-tone colour that looks faded, 3 headlights, and then fog lights off the bumper? Tatra, there's a name you hear all the time today; in trucks, no need to wonder why they stopped making cars then, this is the beginning of the end.
 
Never heard of this. It's so hideous, but only on the front...the rest of the car looks beautiful to me. I love the side intakes, and the split back window. The part that makes it cool, however, is the rear-engine. Any non-VW non-Porsche car that was brave enough to be rear-engined is cool.
 
Perhaps lacks the beauty of earlier Tatra's but the rear end is fantastic and it looks utterly unlike anything else on the road.

Secretly designed by streamliner fanatics. But wouldn't have left the drawing-board if it wasn't eventually commissioned by communists.

Soon it was used by statesmen and racing teams alike. Like an Eastern Bloc Citroen DS with looks that would have made Robert Opron blush.
