My point is, why do you think this car is "generic" when it comes to 50's sports cars. I'm also puzzled because you voted uncool. Not that there's something wrong with that, I am just curious to know why you voted for that option.

Because it shares enough interchangable 1950s sports car styling traits with its contemporaries that the badge on the front of the car is practically irrelevant. And like most of them probably is similarly one of those cars that people refer to by chassis serial numbers in hushed tones when they talk about it; which is usually only when one pops up at Barrett Jackson for 10 million dollars.
