This is what made Buick great. Too bad nothing since has really matched up.

A rather lovely looking car with the four headlights on the grille. I'll bet it haemorrhages petrol with those big engines.

Cool

This is one hell of a styling statement, and a great one at that. A really classy car with the right amount of '60's luxury. Who cares about the short number of gears and the boat handling when you are surrounded by such a lush and classy environment? It is a very solid cool for me.

Very classy and very beautiful car. One of my favourites to come out of the USA.

High cool. The Boattail is cooler though

Manages that fine line between stylish and ostentatious. A high cool.

Classic muscle cars aren't cool, classic luxury cruiser are though. Plus that picture has a total Mad Men feel to it.

High Cool, very nice car, but for me also the boattail would be an easy SZ. Both look badass in black particularly :)

This was a car you could hit a set of bad railroad tracks doing 80 and wouldn't feel a thing. The seats are literally like a couch. And it's got classic styling to it as well. Oh, and you can rip the tires to shreds in every gear with hardly any throttle. Cool.

One of the best 60's Luxury cars to fly out of America.

Plus, it's beautiful and powerful.

Sub Zero.

Was going to come in here to say "Riviera" is such a sissy name (ROADMAAAAAASTEEEER!!!!!). But I digress... I thought it would be this:

...not that sexy old lady up there.

Tres cool. Not quite Humphrey Bogart cool, but still fedora and cigarette cool.

I loves me some old-school GM. A bit old, I prefer early to mid-70's if we're looking at old American cars, but nevertheless cool indeed.

Land yacht that big might as well have 4 doors. Its also heavy and those transmissions made sure that it needed all that power just to be able to move. Also, pensioner mobile.

It's not the 3rd gen, sadly. The way that was styled made it special all by itself.
But the 1st gen is just...nothing, really. Uncool.

What retired person drives that? All I see is '90s Cadillacs and Avalons around here?
