Jokes aside, I like the Jalpa. It's the proper baby V8 Lambo of the 1980's, and a fairly good car on its own. Not to mention that it is the Lambo for those who fear that a Diablo will kill them, considering it's more affordable as a driver's car. Make no mistake, it's still your classic Lamborghini. Especially in yellow...

Well, it might be, but if anything it's more subtle than your average Lambo. That might be good or bad, depending on your point of view.
 
Like 'em. But little more than a yuppified Urraco. Next to a mad 80s Countach they just look tacky.

Cool for the Q-Car appeal but all I think of when looking at those photos are shoulder pads and Miami Vice. :boggled:

Plus a bit of a Rover SD1 dashboard too. :crazy:

Not as cool as the Muira/Eapada/Uracco/1st get Countach, but still waaaaay nicer/cooler than anything Lamborghini have produce since.

Not as cool as other Lambos, even from the same time period. Also it is quite dull.

Plus side is now I know what that odd looking car in Driv3r (yes, I still play it on the PS2) is supposed to be.

Mine's still the Diablo, love that thing.

But the Jalpa is underappreciate it. And I dio like it. I suppose for people that couldn't afford the Countach or the Miura, I thought this would be a cheaper choice. Just a guess, that's all.

Anyway. I'll vote a high cool for this one.
 
As much as I like it, it's not cool. Just seemed half-assed in the face of competition: at least the Gallardo really had the equivalent V8 berlinetta in its sights when it came out, though that's probably more to do with VAG's ruthlessness than anything else.
 
A Gandini-designed 70s Lambo morphed to fit the 80s taste for low skirts and exagerated spoilers, powered by a V8 engine with a great sound, but not-as-great power output, that's been driven by Rocky and then forgotten by the mainstream?

That's so cheesy it's sub-zero.
