I've gone Meh as even going into uncool gives it a form of recognition the pure blandness doesn't warrant.

Ah, the "scoop".

SU. I quite like some Hyundais, but the Scoupe just isn't cool. Bland, never (as far as I can recall) that highly-rated back in the day, and not possessed of a cool enough badge to offset those other factors.
I'm not sure whether this blandmobile or the... thing they replaced it with is worse.
The first-gen Tiburon? I quite like those. Never driven one, but its styling stood out a mile back in the day (for good or bad, but the pre-facelift ones aren't too bad, really), and most tests in magazines I have were pretty positive about it. Handled well, inexpensive to buy etc.

The facelift was just bizarre though.

Almost cool with its clean styling and the inevitable kneejerk reactions to its modesty. At 987kg, I'm sure it would be fun to drive.

May be underpowered, but it sits at under 1 ton, which makes it pretty lightweight. That kind of makes it fun to throw it around corners. But add to that the bland styling and it makes you feel that you wouldn't mind the car getting one or two scratches whenever you do throw it around corners.

A Meh for me.

Holy heck that's bland.

It was Hyundai doing a simplified impression of a Nissan Pulsar NX, but making it more anonymous.

People forget (or didn't know in the first place), that 1980s-1990s compacts made...well, compact horsepower. Cars with under 100 horses weren't uncommon. Sporty-cars made 120-140hp, unless you went to the V8 iron or exotics.

Fakt: After the Scoupe, Hyundai swung the pedulum the other way, creating the Tiburon. That inspired the Mitsuoka Orochi, which has the unique ability to be chased down by pest control vehicles.

This was designed to be Meh from product planning to demise, so that's what I give it. It's the ultimate whatshisfacewhoicantremember vehicle.

I actually completely forgot about the Pre-facelift one.

Ahem...

Does that look cool to you?
