Shared a platform with the Citroen XM. Featured along side an XM in Ronin. And while not as out-there as the XM was, it was a very clean-cut 90s French exec unlike the more awkward-looking 607 that came after.

Ignoring the woefully underpowered non-turbo diesel, I'd give it a cool.

Was gonna go with uncool because it's typical 90's soggy wet bread blandness, but being French made it Meh

Uncool.

I really, really like this car but it flatters to deceive and can't make an impression alongside contemporaneous BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E Classes or Audi A6s. It has the whiff of a Vaupel Omega / Senator or Lancia Theta about it and isn't Citroen enough to be quirky.

Incredibly boring in appearance. Nothing notable to distinguish it from other 90's sedans. It would be a unique car to drive here, however, so not seriously uncool, but just uncool.

Edit: Is it supposed to look better in the picture because of the cars behind it?

As of now this is at 0.000, tied w/ the Budweiser Drag Racer as the only car with that rating

I don't see how that alone would affect how it looks in that shot.

If anything, the angle doesn't do a brilliant job of showing much other than the side profile.

I consider the mid-late 90s facelifted models to be better looking than the earlier offerings. The updated grill and bumpers bore a closer resemblance to the newer, more stylish 406.

How is that beautiful

Because tastes differ?

I'd call it clean and easy on the eyes rather as opposed to beautiful, though. Like most other boxy Peugeot's around that time. Plus it's somewhat reminiscent of the Alfa 164 which was also styled by Pininfarina. Also quite nice to look at, as it happens.

It's a decent looking Peugeot saloon 4-door. I like it, but not as much compared to the 405/406, I guess.

Well, screw it, gonna get some hate on it. It's a low cool. Could gone for meh but I find this car actually neat.

Invert that 6 completely and you have a Sub-Zero (or my Icebox).
But alas, no. It's fairly average, but not soulless.
So it's a Meh.

My parents had one of these. It took the 5 of us with a caravan in great comfort to southern France. But it does nothing. Meh.

Cool. There's something about this car that just works, despite the fact that it's a grey '90s saloon car. Maybe it's because it's French, and possibly because of the XM underpinnings.

When was there a 405 in Ronin, there was a 406 but not a 405.

The 605 did.

Two in fact. A pre and post-facelift model. The former was even involved in one of the more memorable car deaths I've seen.

There was a 406 though, but that was used in the Paris chase.

Sorry, I've just had a mind blank, I've read this while thread as being about the 405. I didn't even know there was 605, it looks very similar to the 405.
