Props for 0-door-roadster and looking like a "Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator."

Marvin would be proud to know that this design looks like something he built. That doesn't make it any less of an impractical car for anything but track days.

Meh, because as much as I like it, it's impractical for anything but tracking.

As much as I like the car, with it being awesome to drive and all, it's just not cool. The looks let it down a hell of a lot, uncool.

A classic case of the heart says cool, but brain says uncool.

A car that does not look like a car does not interest me. It is scraping the top of uncool.

Brain starting to hurt from trying, desperately, to think why this deserves an uncool.

Gotta go with the gut. Mild cool.

You are right, it's not pointless for the track, it does what it does good but it's pointless for anyone that wants something that's also practical for off-the-track use.
Yeah agreed, that's why I voted uncool as well.
Those are great at what they do yes, but personally I would think for the money people would choose something like a Miata long before they pick one of these.
In most cases people would probably build a Miata as a track car first, but if you have the money and something to tow it with one of these would be hilarious.
It does what it does good, but at the end of the day the average joe simply won't buy one of these if they want to track a car.
Yeah makes sense man 👍

It's a great race car, but I honestly wouldn't want to be seen in one. Uncool in my opinion.

You would have to watch Top Gear as well in order to know that.

I know, and I do, sometimes, but that's not the point I was making. You're basing your opinions on Top Gear's opinions. It's ok if your opinion and Top Gear's opinion sometimes align but your opinion and theirs' always align...

Looks fun to drive, but it doesn't look that good. Still, is a head turner...

Cool.. but barely...

It's a Gordon Murray designed toy. I think it's really cool.

Small, light, little engined, made of exotic materials, nimble and fun. I also kinda like the looks of it. Yes, you like a moron in an helmet driving a petrol tank from an aircraft and it's a bit showoff-y to show up anywher in one of those, but the smile that it puts on your face and the head-turning capabilty boosts up to cool.

@xXKingJoshXx is correct. Watching Top Gear and regurgitating its idiotic opinions are different things.

We should start a "Most Idiotic Top Gear Quotes Thread"

My favorite was when Richard Hammond was reviewing the Lexus LFA and said that they made the V10 engine "As big as a V8 and as light as a V6." It gave me an aneurysm.

Atleast you don't get sub-par dubbed translations :D I remember Clarkson saying "this car has Brembo brakes" while the lithuanian overvoice translated it into something along the lines of "this car has the brakes like the ones from Rambo movies". I ain't kidding.

As much as I literally crave driving this car on a windy canyon road or race track, there is absolutely no getting around how dorky you'll look driving it anywhere, track day included. I mean, I can feel the embarrassment from here of sitting at a light in traffic as people point and giggle at you.

Correct. It's so cute! Look at its little surprised tadpole face!

I feel it's unfair for all us to to talk about how Top Gear is a poor source of car information without providing a better one. My advice would be to alternate between reading reviews from qualified drivers/journalists (like Randy Pobst) and spending some time reading online guides to vehicle dynamics and component design. You'll find that with the right education, you'll be able to learn more about a car from looking at the spec sheet than you would watching an hour of Top Gear.

Idiotic opinions and thinly veiled mock journalism intended for entertainment are different things, too.

I think I'll go with uncool. It's not the greatest looking thing and you'd look ridiculous driving it.

Needs 3 litre V8/V12/H16 and PHAT tires. :D

Fun to drive. But do you really want to be seen driving it traffic?

Seriously uncool.

Sub-Zero if you're alone with it, Seriously Uncool if you're seen in public with it, so it balances out to Meh

Its seriously uncool ,its like wearing red trousers and rolled up socks and taking your bats for a game of golf

Seriously uncool. Single seater, no roof, built in a shed and more impractical than a scooter would be.
