90's RWD V8 British Sports Car. Bonus Points for being a TVR. High Cool

Blackpool Rocket back when TVR was at it's best. Cool.

The Cerbera has crazy performance for it's class, 420HP in 1996 for a sportscar! Blows all those silly imports out the water. Even faster than the XKR and BMW M3.

Really, really beautiful design in person. It still looks new despite being nearly 20 years old. It also makes an awe-inspiring noise and the long wheelbase makes it more docile than other TVRs. Low sub zero for being totally awesome and very slick.

So, if you can buy a car in purple from the factory it gets an automatic cool?
Not automatically, but it does get my attention in a good way.

Yes, I think the Plymouth Voyager is cool for this very reason. How many kids can say their parents have a purple minivan?

What about the purple ^Vauxhall Corsa^

You can buy the Dodge Challenger SRT8 in purple, but i don't think that makes it cool in any sense.
You can buy a lot of cars in purple:
Like the:
Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33)
Dodge Viper
Dodge Challenger SRT-8
Ford Fiesta
Ford Ka
Nissan Micra
Toyota Avensis
Honda Accord
Mercedes Benz E-Class
Chrysler Voyager
Toyota Corolla
VW Polo
ETC.

Ignoring the 3 sportscars, all of those cars are cooler in purple than in brown, or orange.

One of the TVR anthems. Built at a time when TVR were on a roll and would blow everyone else away.

4.7 V8 for me please! SZ.

I believe that colour is called Rainbow Blue, but yes, most people would say it's purple.

I'm torn by the Cerbera. Personally I love them - they look fantastic, they're ridiculously fast and sound like thunder. However, it's hard to not look like a complete tool driving one, especially in a 90s-tastic flip paint job. Uncool it is.

Would definitely be impressed if I saw one of these or a 90's Griffith here in the states. Really liked the mid-late 90s TVRs.

Cool.

Best looking TVR ever build. Monstrous specs in such a featherweight. Love it. Like it. I want one. Speed Six, V8, doesn't matter.

Highest cool possible. Not subzero because British reliability.

This 👍

2 key reliability issue with this era of TVRs... electrics & the 6cyl engines (which all go pop at some stage and require a £10k rebuild).
