I'm torn. On the one hand, that OP pic is absolutely awesome, and I love Jaguars.

On the other, only rich snobs and grandparents drive Jags around here.

I don't much care for Jags, but tire shredding sedans are cool, and even more so if you can imagine a butler is behind the wheel calmly applying the gas.

edit: hehe, OP said knob. hehe.

Most of those additional pics show the regular XJR or XJ Sport. The 100 only ever came in the best possible shade of black. Equal parts class and power in the most appropriate colour for a big cat.

Easily Cool.

Easily one of the best-designed sedans of the 90's, with plenty of power to have fun with (see top photo).

Cool.

Used to want this as a first car. Then I realized there's no way in the world that I can afford it, and the gas mileage isn't good.

It's a 90s car, but in a bad way. The older models (not that one with the awful rectangle headlamps) are a bit more majestic looking.

I always found this Jag kinda cool for some reason. Supercharged barge going very sideways is always cool even if you dress up in a tweed have a nice beard and one those hats old people use.

Solid Cool

Look at that damm first picture. Just look at it! The sight of seeing a Jaguar so big going sideways may sound strange, but it seems that big Jaguars have this natural born drifting sense, something that even the XJ has. And let's face it, the rest is a pretty good product. Well-honed luxury, classy design, and of course the massive supercharged engine that churns out plenty of horsepower and torque. And thanks to @Wiegert, I now know that the 100 does come in one of the coolest shades of black ever made for a car.

So yes, the XJR 100 ticks many boxes. Yes, it is very heavy, and yes, good luck trying to save that fuel tank for more than three days if you're a heavy-footed driver. But I feel that the first picture and the subtle yet sporty design easily overpower the fact that some Jaguar owners are indeed arrogant rich snobs. Get me the fridge, please.

One of the most stately ways to shred tyres. It has an air of menace about it too.

Cool.

A very, very cool car. The looks alone mean that even the Daimler Sovereign is an acceptable choice.

I prefer the XJR with the supercharged straight 6. Sounds so much better.

Still cool though.

An odd blend of everything that was wrong with Jaguar at the time, and everything that was right. Should equal out to meh, but around these parts you're still cool if you have one, so cool it is.

Uncool because there's no way for me as a North American to say "Jaguar" without sounding like an idiot or pretentious.

For some reason I voted meh. This isn't the first time I didn't think it through. I think it does deserve a cool, but oh well.
