The official vehicle of ricers. Also boring, average A to B transport. The Type R variant of this car (not sold in US or Canada, however) is cool, though. As for this, I was going to vote uncool, but I accidentally voted for seriously uncool instead.

That is an car.

It has a unique dash mounted shifter, for some reason

That's because A) it frees up space for extra storage lower down, and B) it keeps the shifter close to hand, which helps in the sportier models. Looks odd, works really well in practice.

I actually have a soft spot for the Civic EP Si, I don't think they look too bad nor think they're a slouch by any means. I also don't see the boy racer stigma with these so much as boy racers usually seem to go for the other types such as the EM1 and EG6.

Of course, with that said; it's still uncool, because other people will see at as dull A to B transport. That and most Honda drivers I encounter on the road seem to have no consideration towards the rules of the road.

Meh, looks like a typical Civic, which is not bad, but nothing exciting. I also hate the interior.

Really? The only econo box I see that tends to think they're above the rules from time to time is Prius drivers. I usually have no issue with Civic drivers or Honda drivers until they are in a sporty edition Accord or the upper echelon Honda aka Acura, then it's caution to the wind at times.

Well, I could be exaggerating a bit, but I have indeed dealt with jerkish drivers in Civics, CR-Vs, and Odysseys before. A CR-V driver not too long ago was tailgating me on a single lane road and I was driving the speed limit. I've been cut off by non sporty Accords before, and I have seen Odysseys swerve through lanes without even using a signal.

I can't say I've had that experience or enough to see it as simply Honda drivers, like I typically can with BMW drivers. I mean I think many people wont believe there is some perceived subconscious people have when driving certain brands.

I nearly bought one of these for my first car (Euro spec, of course). An uninteresting fact for an uninteresting car.

Uncool

Can I just say that despite in other places it's more common to see these, in canada its very rare to see an SiR, let alone a normal Si civic, so I think its kinda cool.

Great engine (though this was one of the tamer variants of the venerable K20), meh-riffic car.

Seriously Uncool.

I do like dash shifters, though.

The complete opposite end of the spectrum to the Type R.

Uncool.
