If there's one thing that the Agera R can do compared to the Veyron SS is that it can turn. Yes it is a hypercar but it can at least take corners.

Solid Cool.

The CCX was already mental and sadistic enough. This takes it up to 11.

SZ.

How can it be the next Veyron? At least this hypercar can take corners especially the One:1 version.

Number-hunting hypercar for those that find the jellybean shape of the Veyron offensive, even though they're likely to share space in some massive, temperature-controlled hangar. Now with the same awful LED eyelashes you can find on Hyundais.

SU.

Actually the color itself is inspired by the Mach 5 in Speed Racer.

Say what you will about ostentatious wealth and soccer players and rappers and etc.

but:

That's still cool, and I daresay would be cool even to a layperson. Plus Koenigsegg gets a lot of points for stubbornly continuing to exist for over a decade now, which is certainly not something that can be said of most companies of this ilk that don't happen to be owned by Volkswagen.

Just about as uncool as car as it's possible to build or drive.

As @SlipZtrEm says, built to hit numbers.

Hmmm, what advantage does this car have over, say...an F-15 Eagle, which I also could afford?

I guess as long as you never have to pronounce it, nor require it repaired on moment's notice...SZ.

Plus Koenigsegg gets a lot of points for stubbornly continuing to exist for over a decade now.

And this...a big reason why it wins out.

Its revolutionary rear suspension design is also very cool, this car is extreme in every way yet is atleast their own full creation unlike Hennessey's LSX powered Lotus.

My problem with Koenigsegg is that they alway seem to be built for top speed, which is utterly useless outside of Bonneville. 1100+ hp sounds like a lot, but I doubt it can use very much of it in slow corners. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if some power was sent to the front tires, but it still would lack aero grip to be any good on a circuit.

Earlier ones yes, newer ones no.

You'll get dreadfully tired of the phrase "No, it's not a Ferrari" every time you drive it somewhere.

Uncool.
