Uncool. It's a MPV, so it was always going to have a handicap, but it's actually a quite nice looking one.

Regular minivan, uncool.

I'd like to know what they did to that engine to bump it up 40hp over the CR-V.

It's a minivan which puts it into seriously uncool but, it has good looks so that puts it into uncool.

Ha ha, yeah, even by dropping in the Accord v6 it would still be 5 hp shy.
Last I knew the 2014 Caravans were making roughly (if my memory serves correctly) in the vicinity of 300hp and 285tq.

Think the crv is up to around 185 hp now, at least over here. I wonder if that 4 cyl Odyssey can use the tsx reflash from Hondata.

@Slashfan I thought the Caravan was 283 hp, but maybe it's more now... ??

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of, but I knew it wasn't too awful far away from the 300hp mark. The 3.6L offers 283hp, so I wonder what the 3.8L offers (if it's still around). Mine has a 3.3L V6, it's got some pickup for it's miles and what it is but it's still a bit dull.

Still better than that 3.0 Mitsubishi engine, I think those 3.0's were the "smokers" always puffing blue smoke behind them.

That's the 4 cylinder right? Or was that smaller? I think there was a 3.0 v6.

There was a 2.6 4 cyl was an optional for the cars and minivans that the 2.2 was standard on.

And your right, it was the 3.0 V6 use in the Plymouth Acclaim, Dodge Spirit and the older minivans,

We better start keeping this on topic though. :)

Thought so. The I4 was turboed at one point too.

This is one of the cooler minivans, but it being a minivan doesn't help it start off strong.

Meh.
