Solid cool from me. Absolutely love the look of it over previous models. Shame it'll most likely be in its next iteration by the time the model gets back to the US.

Wonder how fast those Hennessey lads could get it by tuning it.

Still, this is the proper version, and it's a very low cool. The model from around 2004 was the coolest, this is more powerful and more refined but less...Lotus. It's good, but not great. It doesn't feel special.

Cool. Not Sub Zero like S1/S2 Exige, but very high Cool. Thought of Elise with a big V6, supercharged or not, feels blasphemous.

Track day special that can't be driven to the track. (Not street legal in the U.S. apparently)

Seriously Uncool.
No wonder i have never seen one in the street, let alone ever... cool car for based on that

I'm going to give it Cool. I watched the episode of Top Gear about the old Exige S and how they were saying it was uncool because you'd end up saying stuff like "oh it's practically a supercar!" Well, now it's not "practically a supercar", it practically is a supercar. It hasn't been ruined by sticking a bigger engine in there - it's simply grown up, with that supercharged V6 giving it some of the top-end speed it was missing before, and probably a better sound too. Before, it was sort of sleek and fast-looking, but that four-cylinder sound, aggressive as it was, was a possible giveaway that it was a miniature in (straight-line) speed as well as stature. Now, though, it has it all - the power, the sound, the speed, the looks (sort of)... it just sort of happens to do without a lot of bloaty luxuries, and to still be very small, so it's still really lightweight.

Why not SZ? Well, the looks. As insane as it sounds, the roof needs to come down another couple inches for this car to look truly sleek - it still looks sort of like a pod sticking up above the beltline. And from a certain point of view it that might not even look too bad - it still looks like a racecar, which is kind of cool. So it might actually be Sub Zero after all.

I can't help but feel like a V6 Exige with a sudden weight gain of almost 350lbs. is a case of losing the plot. However, it's still a Lotus and I'm sure it's brilliant. I also think it looks excellent, the best of the Elise/Exige line so far. A very cool car, but only Cool.

Solid Cool, because I personally think it's a handsome looking car and it's an amazing track monster.

Probably amazingly good to drive, and I would love to drive one, but lost some of the maniacal charm of the pervious generations, and you still look like a weird track day guy driving one. And good luck convincing someone of the fairer sex to climb into one of these with you. Uncool.
