The new Giulia is Alfa Romeo's first rear drive sedan since the 75 and this top of the range QV aims to strike at the German sports sedan stalwarts from Audi, Mercedes and BMW. Too new. Can't really judge it yet.

The info is a little incorrect, since it doesn't need the "since the limited run 8C Competizione" qualifier: this is the most powerful production Alfa full-stop.

Technically not true:

Even though it's just a Dodge Viper in drag.

"Production". 9 rebodied Vipers built over ... however long it was, don't really qualify.

Would be cool until you tried to say what it was

Finally and Alfa that I'm truly in love with. I don't hate a single thing about it.

Gonna be brave and say sub-zero.

PS: Please come back to DTM with this car <3

Although the new Giulia has exceptional performance, handsome looks and is an all-around great car, it lacks the charm and is nowhere near as cool as the classic ones.

An Alfa Romeo Sedan that actually looks good for once... With some of the best performance specs you will ever see from the Italian manufacturer. So crazy that only the wealthy from their own country can afford it... due to the complicated taxing system of high powered cars.

Now that my initial thoughts have settled down.

It looks like a German. It doesn't have that Alfa zing to it. Makes me sad.

Voted cool for a reason:
This is one of the best sounding things with four doors I've ever heard.

That Ferrari V6 does wonders for the ear.

Don't know too much about it yet to say Sub-Zero, but a powerhouse sedan with a manual is Cool territory for me; plus it's got an incredible sounding exhaust to match.

I love it. It looks great and it is one of the few sedans that I would say is better than the BMW M3.

Also the name is beautifully over-the-top.

Sub-Zero

Those wheels. Those curves, muscular yet sensual, lacking the pizzazz of vintage Alfa's but monstering anything die Deutsche can offer. That roaring, shouting, turbocharged powerhouse of an engine.

And the name. Alfa. Romeo. Giulia. Any human being with a pulse has to feel stimulated by that name.

It's not Ice Box material, I can't put my finger on why, but it's definitely cooler than cool: Sub Zero.

I feel like it should be sub-zero... but every time I look at it I think of rep-mobiles... just a Cool for now. Might be a grower.

It's Super Touring Car heritage makes it cool. That color combo in the OP, is perfect.

Central dashboard, the exterior... everything looks and feels German. Though if it wasn't for that good-looking front end minority, it would be Uncool.

Not yet my dear Giulia, in a couple of years there will be a place for you in the sub-zero box. Cool

The front is a bit ugly. But it's an FR Alfa? Nice!

A good looking rear-drive Alfa that's actually as good as it's German rivals and supposedly has a Ferrari-based V6, should at the very least be cool. But at the end of the day it's a breathed on rep-mobile that's trying to be German rather than doing something different. Can't bring it upon myself to vote it uncool, so 'Meh' it is :(

Rear wheel drive sedan with loads of power and a manual transmission. Sub zero.

An attractive but ultimately left-field choice compared to the Germans. It does however make a much better case for itself than the Lexus RC-F.

Plus you won't have people calling you a tosser if you drive this.

Low Cool.

You name a car Verde and it is neither a hybrid nor even painted green. That's a paddlin'.

It is a damn fine looking machine with the specs to go with it.

Cool.

There isn't 'Verde' in the official name though. It's just Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Alfa dropped the 'Verde' from the new line of models (Giulia and Stelvio) in all official capacities.

My buddy had a pre-production one of these before I left Michigan, it was everything I thought it would be and sounded great. Sub-Zero.

Lacks any real styling flair one might usually associate with an Alfa.....especially the rear.

It's mere existence is a great sign for the company, but its a bit meh.

I thought the quality was absolutely terrible on these? Like all of the press cars had electrical problems and all of said problems were different?

This is a hard one.

It's beautiful, has loads of power, sounds amazing and no stigma attatched to the manufacturer. Sub Zero.

Of course it is
