Not very informed choice, looked around on the internet and came to the conclusion that the V8 might save it a bit, but the looks do not convince, not even for the 70ies.
Also known as the P38 - half the car it was meant to be. A popular joke amongst mechanics was that when a P76 was brought to the dealership for a service, it was quicker to name the things which weren't wrong with the car. I remember seeing one at the local hillclimb a few years ago where the bonnet flew open halfway through a run.
Its only redeeming feature was that it had a boot large enough to hold a 44 gallon oil drum.
