If you can't see the difference between the RS and the RSR you either no nothing about cars, or you're blind, or you're just being deliberately provocative .

If it's the latter, kindly sod off, if it's either of the first 2 please educate yourself before spouting your usual anti-Porsche drivel.

Other differences than the deep dish rear rims and rollcage? If there is, they cannot be spotted from the outside, meaning that they're perfectly similar in terms of the shape and looks. Besides, this thread is about the Carrera 2.7 RS, there's no need to derail it with babbling about other models.

It's cool because it's an old Porsche. And yes, they all do look similar.

Any car that has replicas made of it is cool, but this one is relatively unknown to non-enthusiasts so that and its awesomeness make it sub-zero

It's an old, bad ass Porsche. Sub-zero.

Anyone who can tell the difference between a 335i M Sport and an M3 can easily see the difference between the RS and the RSR.

Of course you claim not to be able to see the difference between the 911, 964, 993, 996 or 997 ;)

They can be told apart because they don't even represent same chassis generation! Aren't differences between RS and RSR more similar to differences between 997.1 and 997.2?

No, more like the differences between a GT3 Cup car or GT3R compared to a GT3 RSR.

930 is a model designation. But only for pre-964 911 Turbos. Non-turbo models up to the debut of the 964 series in 1989 were officially called simply "911," including the various sportier models.
Look at this fancy kid.

Anyway, I really don't know how to vote on this one. Not only have I never seen one, but I've never had the chance to stereotype its drivers. If I had to guess, its rare classic status probably relegates it to being owned by Porsche collectors who don't drive it hard anymore. While I would do the same, those people aren't what I would call "cool". They might be rich and fancy, but they aren't cool.

If you rolled past a college campus all the chicks would point and laugh at its bugeyes, bulbous fenders, and flipper on the back. This car is just asking for a Porsche-fan sausage fest.

Uncool.

I believe J Kay owns one of these, I'm pretty sure he drives it and I'm pretty sure chicks don't laugh at him it it.

Well, look at Mr. Clarkson, here. :/

Dude, I don't know what you're getting at, or what college campus you go to...or what Porsche fanboys you've met. I mean...You know me. I'm a GT-R "fanboy." and even I went Sub-Z on this car.

I'm puzzled, really am. I mean...sure, it's somewhat rare, but I tend to see these cars (or, at least, later variants like the 3.0) in classic rallies, hillclimbs, places where they're used and driven hard. I've not seen one photo of these cars in a museum.

Ridiculous colors on yet another 911.

Sub-Zero. Just a bonkers little car. Pretty desirable, as well.

I voted uncool because it doesn't appeal to me. Its definitely not seriously uncool because If I talked to someone about it i would likely say "oh how bout that...."
Its just one of the cars I cant "get"...and another reason is that I have been voting meh on a lot of these polls so I figured I would give a definitive answer.

Classic car rallies? What's that you say? You mean sausage fests racing events where all the owners who don't keep their's locked up in a museum go to drink tea and smoke cigars with other old, bearded classic car owners?

I believe the Top Gear crew all went on a classic car rally once. The verdict is in: Uncool.

Sub-Zero: The coolest road-going Porsche ever built in my opinion, even if the number of replicas does outnumber the amount of originals.

Whatever, dude. You're clearly outspoken here. For once.

Ah yes TG, that most accurate of sources. Mika Hakkinen did the Mille Miglia (now a classic car rally) a couple of years ago, and he's the real iceman (not Kimi).

Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, the name alone makes it Sub-Zero
