GTP Database Errors

Over the last day or so, I have had a number of database errors. It started last night with pages refusing to load, and today, I have been having database error messages. Is everything ok with GTP? Hope so, Wouldn't want to see things go down the pan again... :nervous:
 
I've not had any problems, except for what is mentioned by a few people in here, which also happened yesterday. I doubt there's a connection, but you never know.
 
I wouldn't think so.. I've had a couple recently but they were momentary.
Perhaps Jordan needs to poke a couple of people with a stick..
 
Yes they have been happening to me recently aswell, I notice after they happen and I get back on GTP I look at the members online and there was only three. So it must be happening to everyone thats online at that time.
 
Interesting... happened to me once too...
It also, sometimes when I am posting the 'no perssimon' comes up, and I find I have logged off. Why, who the hell knows? I only clicked the 'post' button, I am on 'remember me', and i didnt log off. :boggled:
Pages for me always refuse to load, I just close the window and go back and it works.
 
It happens a bit to me.
Then something terrible happens, I go to post on a topic, and when I click the post button, the page won't load! :banghead: Meanwhile, Firefox's status bar says waiting for sitemeter.com or googlesyndication! Maybe I just need to get Premium.
 
Me too, I wrote a great long post and had to rewrite it!
It said 'waiting for adslfkja;/GTplanet/forum/showthread blahblah....' or along those lines for half an hour!

It's a good idea to write those long posts in some text editor and paste them into the reply box. You may need to change some lines though.

[EDIT] Strange, a little bit after posting here, the Rumble Strip forum took 28 seconds to load, and I got a databse error trying to access the Caption The Avatar thread!
 
I must admit i have had about 5/6 of these errors happen today. Im not sure why, my guess is the server being used by large amounts of people or something. Its only momentarily though and GTP comes back normally everytime.

I've had a few of these database errors recently too. Maybe half-a-dozen over the last week.

Not too bad, but the most annoying thing is I'm logged out when I refresh the page! :irked:

Ahhh, I saw that a few days ago too. It was so strange I was going to take a screenshot and make a thread about it. I'd never seen so few people on GTP!

I guess that explains it though. :)
 
That probably happens to most. Probably. That problem has happened with me yesterday, 3 days ago, whatever. That might not be a problem since it happens to many occasionally.
Lets wait for Jordan.
 
I've been getting some notifications of failed services as well - now that I'm finally back online, it is being investigated.
