I am initiating a major change to the points system, I have also dropped the GT3 Teams series. But the points acquired by drivers in that series and others remain.

Here are the changes.

All members of GTP are eligible for points, if they are part of a team their points go toward their team's points.

Almost any series now earn you full points.

Points are a bragging rights issue, so, no, you are not promised a prize.

The top 30 in a competition are eligible of points: 30 pts for 1st and 1 point less per drop in finishing order; 30th place being worth 1 pt.

Spot races are allowed if they give the option of at least 30 positions and have a deadline set.

All series races are eligible.

The major points are spot race deadlines and allowance of at least 30 positions.

To ease matters, this is only for new series and spot races that announce deadlines.

I realize that some may think it's unfair to allow the points advantage some already have. I understand this and would like to know if current points holders object to their points either being droped or for have a universal team and driver points automatic minimum.

an additional 1 pt for top qualifying position and 5 for a series championship.


Driver's

made in holland: 58.5 pts

Zero: 47.5 pts

boombexus: 43 pts

Lotus350: 33.5 pts

ed99: 27 pts


Teams

Team Skidmarkz: 108 pts

HSB Racing Tech: 106.5 pts


Other Series

Registered Series:
GT Drafting Series
Registered by Boombexus for team HSB Racing Technologies.
Included drivers are: Boombexus, Made in Holland and El Mano

Team Skidmarkz drivers registered by Lotus350 for GTD: Zero, ed99, Lotus350.

Could you please include "El mano" in that list above. He will be filling the "alternate" position that Der Alta was in.

Seeing as how I have not seen Slip in quite some time, El mano will probably be running as one of the 3 standard team drivers.
 
Lap times for comparison would be appricated....
 
This is the results thread correct? so shouldnt the results be posted here? just my personal opinion about the function of a results thread
 
I know this but isnt the function of the results thread to post all of the results?.....
 
yep. points board only. I said in the rnd 1 thread that the results would be edited into there. this is only a score board thread.
 
Talentless I thought I had registered All team Skidmarkz members for the GTDS II :confused:

And will you be keeping check of our results or do we send them to you ?
 
as i told you i need the captain to do that, but as you are women, i hear you roar, what are the gtd members again?
 
i'd prefer them sent or to have a direct link provided. is there qualifying in it?

points board updated. congrads to zero for 3rd place and for having the best lap. ed and lotus were outside the top 30 and i did not see el mano in the results. if there was qualifying, please tell me if any of you got pole.

remember that points are halved when from other series. so zero moves ahead with 14 points for 3rd and 2.5 points for the best overall lap (lap 2)

I'll blame the rain for my poor performance :rolleyes: Next time though I'll be scoring some points!! 😈

I will admit getting 5th overall again in team would be great but there is much competition and all of us will have to get better during the course of the season.

I think my performance is mostly due to my love for the ssr5 track and the excellence draft choice by lotus:shades::D
