TS .. you need to look at the points standings/get a calculator/and/or get new glasses :)

Looks like the A4 gets more out of the tyres than the TT .. i'll be doing some testing before making an application to the race stewards {the A4 needs extra weight .. maybe}{or was i silly for not testing before hand ? Question .. are the specs for the TT and A4 the same as last season ?}

TS could i make a suggestion .. that you show on the results thread what tyres everyone used for the remainder of the race ? .. hmmmmm .. or is it better to keep it a secret ?

Marty,I think that there is not much difference between the tyre consumption of these cars. The only difference is that the A4 is easy to drive.
In the 1st season of GTP DTM I won the championship with the TT... 👍

I have to disagree with you Marty. The TT does eat the fronts, but all of them do. I tested most of the cars, and the TT was the easiest to drive for me. It suits my driving style.

The biggest thing was wheelspin. Using a DS2, I'm more of a mash-the-gas driver. I've gotten better at goosing the throttle, but the A4, the Opel, and the CLK all spun the wheels in 2nd gear out of the slower corners, and for me that's a no-no. I tested at Infineon, good choice I thought for fast and slow corners, and really enjoyed the TT.

Now the 190E. That's just the uber of that sub-series. :)

Wish i had time to race the 190E .. looks like i need the time to really get into the TT :nervous:

I really wished I did the first race, but easter kept me busy...

I'm definitely going to have time for this since the results are due on my b-day :) :) :)

The car setups are different this year. The TT and A4 horsepower & weight wise are nearly equal. Tire wear depends on your driving style and what you use to play GT4 (DS2, DFP/G25).

Drivers choice, some send what tires they used during the race, most don't.

Time submitted.
I felt confident in the car.
In the past I did not enjoy racing at TM,nowadays it is one of my favourite tracks.

After a few laps at TM {which used to be my favourite track} ... El Capitan is definately a better track .

Noticed a lot of oil leakage from your car Laz ... o well .. guess it'll be ok for the next race .

Man, my K run was only off by my M run by 1 minute or so. Gonna have to do that pos again I guess, and this time try not to get a penalty on the last lap....

edit: Re-run, 25 seconds faster and no penalties, yay.

Times sent in last night. 1 run each, and I'm happy. I usually only do 1 run for all series, and it seems to work pretty well. Started and ran the whole races on RM/RS for both cars, 4 pits each. I really enjoy Trial Mountain in cars with under 500bhp, it's a great drive. Just got done testing LMS P1 cars there, and THAT is an adventure. :)

You guys have a little over 27 hours left to submit your times, right now ICallShotgun, esh, GTXDriver and myself are the only drivers that have submitted times so far.

Times sent in. :D

A little disappointed with the M-Klasse result thinking my 3-stop strategy would put me higher up in the race standings. But I am pleased with getting 2nd in K-Klasse.:D

Onwards to Round 3!;)

I hate to say it, but give the k-class Mercedes a 2% weight increase. it's murdering the competition. Congrats to the podium finishers. I'm going to have to step it up in MClass, very close racing there by the top three. Impressive!

I'll do some testing between all the K-Klasse cars on a variety of tracks, then I'll make the appropriate adjustments.
