I'm trading in my PS2 for an xbox and halo 2 tonight. Goodbye GT4, but damn, xbox rules. :)

I like Halo2, and Halo1 was awesome..... But i would never give up my PS2 for an Xbox! Your taking a BIG risk. But do what you feel you must. :scared:

I don't like games over 12 players cause my connection SUCKS THE BIG ONE.

P.S.: tripleplay, though trading it your ps2 for an xbox to spite some fanboys sounds amusing, I wouldn't do that if I were you.
 
I got it, never going back. No offence guys, xbox really is better than PS2. The graphics are much better, the load times are much better, the controller really is good ( I managed to get a large, they feel better in my hands), and trust me, XBOX LIVE RULES OVER ALL!!!!!! Really and truly, i have NEVER played anything as good as xbox live, nothing could ever be that good on the PS2. Halo 2 may be the minority of the xbox, but it's god damned worth it. I got an xbox, 12 month live subscription, and Halo2.

I prefer the S pads my self, the old pads are a monstrosity. Oh and the sound is also loads better ;)

btw any of you play over xbox connect?

I agree 100% that X-box live is WAY better than ps2 online. However I wouldnt say that the x-box is better over all. Keep in mind I own both systems so im not bias at all. I have way more fun on my PS2 and have many more hours on my PS2 than I do the X-box. I have been enjoying Halo 2 on the X-box live lately. Probably get on again tonight. 👍
 
Well people are different, imo the xbox is quite abit better, other people think otherwise. There really isn't anything on the ps2 that can touch halo 2.
 
i have 3 options, xbox, ps2 and the pc, now i love all 3 for different games,

ps2 = you can't touch the ps2 for driving games, the gt series in particular.
pc = call of duty, half life etc, you can't beat a mouse and keyboard for fps, imo.
xbox = halo 1 & 2, both excellent games.

so why settle for one, all equally as good as each other!! :)
 
What I have concluded is if a game is going to be online and the X-box has it and the PS2 has the same game I will just buy it for the X-box instead so I have a better online experience than if I had bought it for the PS2. 👍 Thats the nice thing about having PS2 AND X-box.
 
The nice things is being able to own the xbox game of all the multiformats, and also being being able to play the PS2 exclusives and the Xbox exclusives :D.

You can just replace the DVD drive, you know....
 
I read how to do it. It goes something like:

"Plug new drive into COMPUTER power, Leave old Xbox DVD Drive connected to the power in Xbox, Put New drive above Xbox drive, plug in Xbox IDE cable"

Yea, I'm going to put my Xbox inside my computer. :rolleyes:
Or, I can buy a replacement drive, for $70.

I'ed rather buy a new Xbox, get 2 games I don't have, and another controller, for $150.

Yes, but at the same time now that Race Driver 2 is out for the PS2, that version is by far the better option simply because it supports the Logitech wheels with Force Feedback.

It's like everyone says here, every system has it's advantages. Since we're on a racing board, the PS2 rules. :p

But I do have Halo 2 for the Xbox, and I do have Live, so if there's anyone out there interested in slaughtering me, invite me to a game sometime. My tag is ...

Actually, all racing games out for both systems (PS2 and Xbox) The Xbox version is better.
Infact, the only good racing game Xboxers can't get is GT.

I will when i get it for xmas i need a wireless router too, such a hassle....as for skill im actually pretty good at it. So I'll get back to you
 
Feel free to add me to your XBOX LIVE friends list. I won't be able to join the clan though as I am already the Overlord of my clan. And you can play XBOX LIVE with a modded XBOX, I do it all the time, it just depends on what chip you have, my Smart-XX lets me play online if I want.

how do you get rid of a clan if you're the only overlord left? I'm stuck with my defunct clan because me and the founding members didn't want to stick with it, but I'm the unlucky one that's stuck with it cause they left before I did.
 
i'm in. Dont have live or Halo 2 tho lol. I've heard that Halo 2 is so much like Halo I that its not even worth buying. I think I'll stick with my #1.
