Alright GTP my time has come. I will not be on GTP anymore. I will not be on for at least 3 weeks. I will not be able to play PS2 either which makes it worse. I might as well enjoy my top posters place for as long as I can because I know I will be far behind when I arrive back. I am not going to be on for 3 weeks because of my own faults. I have failing grades in 2 classes and my parents found out and that is why. You all better be expecting a thread about my return 3 weeks from now so.....LATER! :( :D

That sucks ViperConcept :( I know you wanted to race in the GT3 GTP series so I will postpone it til u get back ok :) I hope the racers that wanna race in it wont be mad at me for waiting for a fellow racer to get back on the net.
 
ohh man, I hate it when that happens! :mad: My parents were mad at me a year ago or so, and took away my PS, bike, TV(a little 9" B&W, but it was mine), PC useage for several days(I got on when I needed to do HW, but that was it), and some other stuff.

I wish they stopped my brother from using the PC, he has several Fs and doesn't get off the pc when someone needs it, and he fights a lot. Ohh well.

Dude!!! Didn't you know that GTP has a homework support group? Just ask Zerocool85, he'll tell ya all about it when you get back!

Just think of these three weeks as a time to reflect on yourself, and I bet when you get back, GTP will be better than ever.

I know that a lot of parents fell the way yours do but a lot need to relize that the are job out there where real big $$ can be made with out a good education

Get your grades up, that will better serve you in your future.

Sorry to hear that. I know exactly what that is like. I went through the same thing all through high school. I never did well and my parents were always grounding me or taking something or oter away. Hope all goes well and you pick up those grades. Some advice if you like:
Don't be like me and "fight" the punishment by not doing work. It really doesn't help the situation.

Hey thank you everybody for the farewells and all. It has only been about a week I think since I left and let me tell you that IT SUCKS! It has seemed like a month already. No PS2 and internet or anything. I must admit though that my grades ARE climbling. :) I know I should not be sneaking on like this because it might become a dishonest habit in my 3 week departure but damn I miss this place. Anyway I am just going to surf the forums and read up on things. Goodbye until next time.

Well GTP I will not be able to be back on the assigned date I have had in my status. I have been informed by my I guess smart mother that all grades of mine must be brought up to at least b status. That will not happen by 3/4/02 when it is only 3/2/02. Looks like I will not be back at GTP for a long time. I hope nobody forgets about me. :(

Oh, sucko ... sorry to hear that man. Grades are more important than this site anyway. It takes a lot of determination to keep yourself away from the fun stuff, especially when it's so readily available. My suggestion would be to use this as a reward for studying. Spend a couple hours in the books every night, then jump on and get 30 minutes of GTP-luvin (:
