I like Madrid and Rome. Would like some more street circuits. Spa would be epic however Donnington would be rally cars only as its not finished yet... Opera Paris was great. Learnt to drive manual in GTPSP there. Driven manual in GT games ever since

Donnington has been done for about 6 months. You're thinking of Top Gear aren't you.:sly:
 
So, in order to have a finalized spot, we'll have to show at the pre season race? Then so be it, Jerked Potato will be there.

Good idea to close entries now, 22 is enough, even to fill any unfilled spots in the race.

That sounds like you were saying that you raced there :)

That will be absolutely miserable if its in summer time down there.....Can you say 100 F in the shade, lol. :scared:

I hope they have some fancy pansy grand stands with some cold air blowing through, like they have at Disney World.

I dont know f I'd go. I do like to watch airshows so maybe I would be able to sit through the GP without being part of the action myself.

I usually post photos a day after each race. I will add more photo count than I did last season. I could youtube them as well. However, they will be in 10 minute segments of course.
 
Then there would either be a narrator talking about the race and what's happening or just make like a promo video like mike did.
 
I want to book for Le Mans but it is on the Saturday and Sunday before my final GCSE so I am not allowed. Will go soon though. Go with my mates and camp.

As for youtube videos. There is a pressing question. From which car will they be filmed?

It would take a long time to make a video of the race.

But first step would be to race it. Then the replay should be saved. And then you would have to find the places where there's action, instead of just seeing the race from one car... it would take a couple of hours making such a video ;)

I think the first step should be upload to youtube instead of race it :)

I'll just have to sit and cycle through cars and views. Sure there may be some dull parts but it is likely I will be able to find action. I project that the on screen map will be up during the replay/YouTube video as this will allow me to find groups of cars more easily and focus on race action.

If we look at peopls race reports on the thread and look for times then it should be abit easier. Or you could just watch me and Allin the whole time and watch endless racing :)

Ohh. I just tried PSN and it took ages loading instead of just the instant message of it being under maitenence. So I thought it might work then it did come up with the message. :grumpy:

Btw what are we gonna do if too many people come to the race. Is it gonna to be a first come, first serve basis?

Also not related to the series (well kind of) where the hell has Jav gone? I've not seen him post since he signed up and he's said nothing about testing or what car he's using or anything. Aren't you in the Ferrari f1 league with him golfer? I wouldn't normally say but he used to post often and now he never does at all.

I will set my camera in front of the TV as the replay is on and cycle through the drivers and action and record straight to YouTube. If the replay is zipped to a computer there is no way to cycle through any action.

It looks awesome. I would've done a banner but I didn't have time at the time of taking photos. But you've made one which is better than what I would've come up with. :)

I pulled out of the series because (sorry Rich) the series was flawed cus the F10 was uncompetitive and the tyre rules were never imposed and the championship was small. I don't know about Jav but have no idea what happened to him. Check his profile to see when he was last active
 
so the 24 hours of lemans is on jun 11-12. we also have a race . i wanna watch the lm24

Well I owuld imagine most of us will be watching. Preferablly I would like the race to be pushed back a week or held on the sunday as I always have my mate over for the 24 hours so he will be bored for the hour while we race. That and I want to watch the race hehe. Audi vs Peugeot in a blood brawl for 24 hours at one of the worlds fastest circuits. Well, at least until French reliability becomes a factor and Audi dominate all of a sudden.
(You know the 908 which broke down at 7am French time in the race last year? I turned my TV on after waking up around 2 minutes before that. I cheered as Audi rock. My friend supports Peugeot so his response was predictable)
 
We should create a spreadsheet for people to enter lap times like in the Super GT series. Have it so anyone can enter info so you put in your name and then enter the best laps you have done at each circuit for the season. Also provides a easy place for people to look up series lap times. You just have to be honest. Also, you would all have to do it in a lobby complying with series regs. Even down to wether it is private or open lobby as open lobby provides better tire grip
