Meh. That leaves me without a teammate. AllinWitJT is using Audi and I thought after reading the to post I could team up with golfer but he is now using a Pescaralo. I have all of them but all of them have the same problem. UNDERSTEER!!!! I must say though with the current problems of the GT one I'm also thinking of changing car.
Understeer in a Pescarlo? From my 15 laps I've done so far I have encountered none. Then again I deal extremelly well with understeer and always blame understeer on the driver so to me, my cars never understeer. However I usually blame oversteer on the cars power though. The C60 Hybride has ALOT of oversteer. Stock it puts out 1016bhp. Ive set it up for 850bhp and I'm hoping the series regulations is 750bhp. But I have devised a setup for the LSD which kills off all the understeer in the car. Now I'm working on suspension settings for speed. Then I will retune for low tyre wear. Anyone got any ideas?

I hope we are racing tomorrow, just for fun :)

And it seems as though the demand for Peugeots have gone down again, so hopefully, no one is going to get into a fight for the car.

Jamman: Rich S talked about the GT-ONE too, if he is still interested.
I would of brought that GT-ONE if it didn't disapear from my UCD. I have an idea for the UCD where it is identical to the normal dealership. Why didn't PD do that. Then trading would be for premiums as well and if you want a car over 1 million Cr i.e. my C60 Hybride, then you could just buy it when you have enough. Not look up the value and spend ages refreshing the UCD. But back to the racing, I'm just happy to have a brilliant car and not have to fight off everyone else to get in the car.

Oversteer? Really? I've had the Pescaralos for several months and I have yet to encounter oversteer. Understeer is the only thing stopping me from using that car next season.

Exactly the same here. If that understeer can be cured, consider me in a Pescarolo as well next season. The R92CP sure chews its tyres up.

I'll work on killing the understeer. Anybody got any idea what direction I should be taking with my tuning?

Don't say I didn't tell ya ;) You will definately need some practice with bad tyres, that's for sure, lol. Other than that, it's a decent car though.

Woa, that Jag XJR-9 is really... slow. 3 secs slower per lap than the MINOLTA on Grand Valley - I'm glad it's just for fun I am using it.

I'll get my tune from my judd gv5 tonight.. I'll give you my current hybrid dry/wet (for le sarthe) with lots of understeer, and my dry that cures it a lot (Not gone though) but way to much oversteer in the rear for the wet.

Yeah you were right. :)

Has anyone got any other suggestions as to what car I should use next season?

i cant make tomorrow i have my parents coming around, sorry guys, saturdays are a bit tough for me

Bmw v12..

I actually quite like that car. Only thing I'm worried about with most of these cars are if they will still be competitive with being power limited. As soon as more info for next season is confirmed, I'll be thoroughly testing some of these cars.

I would like to roll in the 05 Audi r8 playstation, if I can. The hybride pescarolo is an awsome car, I ran it in season one for a few races but I couldnt get it tuned well enough, maybe the reason it handles differently for you guys is that extra downforce from the wing you can purchase in the GT shop , have you both applied it? I wonder now if I should have used less df.

Also what do you guys think about running each others bobs while were at work, school, ect ,with remote bspec that way we could all afford to rebuild engines and chassis, and buy new race cars?

Hmm, I'm actually making a Google Docs of all my tunes. Will post up what I have when I get home (just made the templete now).

Ya that sounds good , I think we were battling on the last race last season , so I think well have similar pace, so that will be perfect!

I also must say ive not decided my car yet. Under the current regulations I would have chosen the GT one but they're most likely going to change. I'll wait to see what regulations we decide on and decide after that.

I encountered understeer in my C60!!! Lots of it. I hadn't driven it since I got it at 1am in the morning to I was so exstatic with joy about getting it I only noticed the oversteer because I was slamming on the throttle. But my LSD reduces chance of oversteer and my base setup reduces understeer. But I think understeer is good because in F1 atm they are using front understeer to make the tyres wear at the same rate.

Edit: tissimo, do your reckon that your '04 setup will be any good on the '05 C60 Hybride? Well, there is only one way to find out. As Top Gear magazine had as their magazine title once. "Screw the economy, LETS RACE!"

Its a starting point. I wouldn't put in the Spring rates, but try everything else. With the Judd GV5 I had rear tire wear first on both hybrid setup and dry setup. Average tire wear though (7-8 laps daytona, 6-7 Le Sarthe).. Just dont try for a 1 stop at daytona ;) lol.

The 908 will end up beating you if you try a 1 stop. It will just fly past in pursuit of the uncatchable Toyota

mu675 i just bought a R92CP and guess what itas a great car got 3 11 - 3 12 s at la sarthe so we will be officialy team mates

Yeah I'll go with the GT-One probably. Or the 787B. The 787 is alot of fun whereas the GT-One is a bit faster. If anybody wants to be teamates....

I'll be your teamate in the GT one :)

Just need to see what the regulations for it are going to be.

If I can make it to the races I wanna use the 905. Or a 908. Otherwise the 787B Stealth or the 88CV.

The Pescarolo ain't lookin' too popular with the people. Oh well I'm lovin' it and EliteDreamer said he will get one and pair up with me so maybe I still can have a team mate. Oh and tissimo, I entered your C60 '04 setup into my Hybride. Its perfect. Just what do you recommend in suspension terms if you say don't use your settings for the spring stiffness?

So, no one using the Sauber? That's odd, it's usually one of the most popular cars in Gran Turismo and also one of the fastest.

Just had some testing with MU on Grand Valley, and of course, the Sauber was the fastest car - but I'm sure I can go faster than the time he set with it if I tweak the MINOLTA a bit better, lol. Or at least I hope so :D

The Pescarolo Courage C60 - Peugeot is also a good car on technical courses, just to tell you all. It's terrible at La Sarthe though, top speed is very low - you can compare it to the 905, which also has a low top speed.

Sauber, MINOLTA, R92CP, Courage, 908, GT-ONE, Bentley, R8 Oreca all did times that are competitive ... should be fun! The Jag, however... MUCH MUCH slower...

Yeah bombe that was a very fun and productive test session. :)

Funnily enough I am now actually considering the Sauber C9 after that test session. My team mate Ghova likes both the Minolta and the R92CP. Now I have a problem on my hands...:scared:

One thing we should be testing today is whether there is any difference between running the races in Bermuda's lounge vs an open lobby. I know I have seen differences between the two as far as connection quality goes in other series.
