In other news:

You could do a really good no braking race because you can both open DRS then if it closes , you are disqualified. Oh and it is so fun taking high downforce corners with DRS open then spinning.

Just enjoy the game. I have played and noticed no flaws (except what I metnioned earlier) so yes these are issues but just paly the game until it is maybe patched. I will admit I am going to use that 11,11 thing to my advantage offline for abit but remember, how big an effect would that have on tyre wear.... it wouldn't be used in an online GP

Well, thanks for the info about a "game breaking bug"... but I think it would be better if you had the discussion about F1 somewhere else; remember someone called Famime? (not to be confused with Famime Jr!!!)

I read in the Night series that JT made Mav rage quit. Man's got guts when he then gives the man critic at the same time, lol :D But I know nothing about the situation, I hope it will be in a video of some kind.
 
No TC sucks in F1 2010 and 2011. In GT5 it's perfectly fine. I've been playing online more, 12 wins out of 14 races! 👍

@bombe, add a friend on GTP. Type in "Famine" and see what comes up.

Maybe he should lighten up. Becoming quite a habit. I mean you just have to look on the last page, golfer had a simple misunderstanding and the only reason he posted was to criticise him for it. I've already heard his critisisms about my personality and now it's Mav's racecraft ;)

No TC sucks in F1 2010 and 2011. In GT5 it's perfectly fine. I've been playing online more, 12 wins out of 14 races! 👍

It's the massive fun factor for me. Getting on the power, spinning the wheels, catching the oversteer. I don't find the appeal of nailing the throttle ASAP and knowing there's no chance of a mistake. Although TC on is sometimes up to 2-3 seconds a lap quicker in the wet :(

At least there's the weight penalties which in BK's words: "That's great! Noobs should be punished" :lol:

Golfer didn't quite see the reason for a question. I thought it was amusing that something on topic for once was misunderstood. I never bagged Golfer. Golfer has taught me a thing or two in this thread and I have no ill thoughts of him. Golfer and I have our own accord with one another that's all.

For the record, I'm not the only one who has thoughts on Mav. That's all I can say about that. I on the other hand have no problem explaining what I believe.

This group is not the only group of players I run with. It seems your the only one who wants me to tone it down. Even those I've had disagreements with in the past, I now am on mended paths as I make an effort to work things out. Please don't mistake my outspoken character for anything but that. I could be wrong.

lol. I know what you mean but its no fun. The physics are just wrong because you just spin even if you apply power gradually. You can't exactly slide the car either.

Weight penalties? What's that? (seriously)

I have everything off and its great fun. You drive and drive and rive and then the car snaps and you countersteer with ease. Althought when I did 25 laps of a 100% Abu Dhabi race in the Red Bull, spinning was common and fuel load makes it hard to catch.

And thew weight penalties are penalties applied to people with high ranks and who use assists.

F1 2011 looks good, but I heard on PS3 it has worse graphics than F1 2010

thats the first thing that I thought when I played it. Once you get cracking (a wheel helps) you get in the zone alot and you just focus on the game.

Oh and I restarted my career with Force India.

Earlier I menioned a 25 lap race (was going to do all 55 but got bored) at Abu Dhabi and the day/night cycle was next to non existent which is a shame but in time trail it is fully night :D

physics are now oversteer biased. Bermuda must love it. Lots of countersteering. I'll learn the game soon and then oversteer will become rarer and the racing will be faster (Without 11/11)

oversteer is my driving style. Just never found an LMP that suits that. F1 2011 suits me spot on.

And in F1, it is so hard to think about everything in practice and quali. Throttle, brake, steering, gears, where the corner is, what the car is doing, then using DRS on each straight and KERS in high acceleration areas. Man its tough

I'm in America :D one time in F1 2010 I was expecting a guy to ram me in the last corner of Shanghai on the last lap and I braked, but didn't turn, saw him fly by :D and finished ahead of him
 
Have the stewards decided on a penalty for the last race? and Made it official who won?
