Sum-up:

4 guys in the race - 2 ran out of fuel, 2nd place was 40-45 secs behind. Why bother looking through anything? It wouldn't change a bit in the standings anyway.

Adam is misjudging the breaking point over and over again. Of course that's irritating - imagine an F1 driver that is gambling too much every race. It's a fact, but we all hope that he will change.

It's not a coincidence Jake won S4, and it sure hasn't got anything to do with ramming others off the track all the time (maybe the attendance have helped, but that's everyone else's problem).

and i know weak is more real but at most trscks the strong slipstream is perfect and lights up races... for wexample mine and bombes duel at fuji wouldn't have worked.

True, but it's silly when the defender can be overtaken before retaking the position on the same straight. Looks like lowering downforce could be done for once.

Which I already have done and it's clear to me what was happening.

What do I want from it? I want people to abide the rules makimg me think that we should just run the 2005 La Sarthe version for the finale. La Sarthe 2009 and Monza are always controversial and it's Jake and Amf doing the bulk of the insulting. I did it once.

I am eagerly awaiting the reasons as to why nobody wanted to race at La Sarthe, perhaps it's not even worth making a S5 when nobody's interested.

F1 is more exciting for me IMO. I tried watching NASCAR but got bored within 4 laps. Maybe if I saw them at a circuit and not an oval, it might be exciting.

Everyone in the series has been busy lately, for season 5 we should take everything from start times to the day of the races into consideration.

Bombe, I think the next season will be better, just a hunch. S2 and S3 and the first 5 races of this season were really good, people just had real life matters to deal with recently.

Edit: BTW I've narrowed my car choice for next season to the BMW or go for another season in the Speed 8. I think we all know the Bentley is faster, but the BMW is so cool, and I wouldn't mind teaming with Tiss/BK if he chooses it. We could probably get it even closer to the fast fast cars (GTOne S8 R8) if we really test it and put our heads together.

Also, Tom, we always do a preseason at La Sarthe 2005, so you'll have a chance to spank me there and prove your point. Amf, am I really a garbage driver? lol... I think I do ok for myself, all things considered.

4 people turned up today. Kirk was doing an endurance race offline. Me and Jamman could only of raced if it began two hours earlier which I explained many times. BK I am not sure about. Tissimo was out and so was Drum.

That is 6 people. That would of made 11. If Mike was more worried about racing that drinking it would of been 12. It was just chance that everyone had something on this weekend. Oh and the season only fell apart at the end due to F1 2011. It would function fine next season since nobody is excited about a brand new racing game (Well, I have BF3, Uncharted 3 and SKYRIM coming in less than a month but I will race on. I mean SPA FTW!!!!!!!)

Racing is made exciting by knowing everything going on in that particular series and race. If I had no rooting interest, no knowledge of NASCAR, i'd find it fairly boring too. Same with F1 though.

NASCAR has more cars, more exchanging of positions, more close racing.

F1 is beautiful machinery, precise driving and has tons of drama as does any top motorsport.

It comes down to where you're from, what your preferences are, and what you grew up with. I never get the hate from one side to the other. If you enjoy one, you'd probably enjoy the other given context. I bet if all the F1 drivers and Top 24 NASCAR drivers changed places, all the fans would switch too. Because what we really like is the drama and competition between personalities.

I would have been there guys, but my son wasn't cooperating last night and we didn't fall asleep till 2 in the morning. The race starts at 9 A.M. my time. I couldn't wake up in time. I'll be there for Season 5 though. I really want to challenge better. Given more experience I think I should be better.

What do you mean by defending is very hand since you must keep line?

Defending is hard in NASCAR because the guy behind you can hit you lol. In F1 if you hit someone your race is over.

We already have that, it's called "Status" in the spreadsheet. It's possible to cross out people on beforehand, if they just left a message to me or BK about it.

The majority of my focus is still going to be on F1 2011 during S5. I'm in 2 leagues in it and a reserve for another one (which is also on a Saturday night a few hours after this series lol). It's just such a fun game 👍

Last night, I strived through against competition of nearly 20 other people and won a spectacular trophy.

It was a walking group I am in (mostly over 50s) and they have a fish n chips night once a year where they play seven-pin skittles. You have three lives each. Everyone takes it in turns, they must throw the ball down the alley and hit at least one skittle (rebounds off the back wall don't count). I had 2 lives t the end and everone else was out. I won a nice trophy which is an egg in a cup on top of a stand.

Agreed. It's not hard to just shoot a steward an inquiry about an incident or whatever instead of arguing aimlessly on the thread where nobody will accept their faults very easily.

And on the penalties part, obviously we need more rules because people don't know what are grounds for penalization and what aren't, causing arguments.

There's nothing bad about having several options to vote for. Some people have a block of several hours available on Saturday afternoons, some don't.
