Writing LMP in a post doesn't equal on-topic... but if you wrote something about this series then you would be on-topic.

I wish I had a LMP car in real life (off-topic)
I wish I had the Sauber so I could use that in the series (on-topic)

Phew, last night was a crazy night. I still don't understand how I got away with an infraction but MU got a ban when I did exactly the same as him? He must be a more notorious criminal or something lol :sly:

Anyway Suzuka next yay. My second favorite track of the season.

I wish I didn't get laughed at by the UCD as everytime there's an LMP in there I'm about less then 100,000CR away and by the time I get the money, its gone! :crazy:

I was 15,000 cr out of getting an Audi R8 '01! :grumpy:
Oh well, at least its not allowed in this league.

What did you hommes do? I would have banned golfer first if I were to ban someone :D
And who reported this? I could imagine it had something to do with Timo's interference in the thread. And why tissimo got a ban too is unknown, I guess...

Well the mod was till around the thread after banning Ghova. He kept cleaning the thread but MU (and me :() kept posting stuff like "you missed this post mods" and "we can't stop the almighty power of the mods" (that's the post I got an infraction for). So he banned MU, infractioned me and BK gave him a few choice words in the nights series thread, which led him to closing this thread for a while as punishment.

A member who hasn't received any Infractions yet won't be banned when they get a standard Infraction. A member who has received three and who has already had a temporary ban will be banned when they get a standard Infraction. You'd imagine that such a member would be more careful, wouldn't you? I know I would.

As for why there's two of us in this thread... there's actually all of us watching this thread - forty-ish staff. Every moderator action is logged in an area all the staff can see and check whenever they are logged in - and every report gets e-mailed to every member of staff too. When you have a multi-accounting imbecile insulting people left, right and centre and a formerly temp-banned member occupying the same thread, you'll find that thread under quite close scrutiny.

We don't expect to have to scrutinise this thread again. Hopefully those of you who consider it YOUR thread will use it and police it a bit better without having to involve us at all. There's also little reason to use it for discussing moderation matters - those of you who have specific questions about moderation issues can bring it up with the moderator in question or, if that's not good enough, one of the site admin (me, Duke, Der Alta) or, if that isn't good enough, the site owner (Jordan).

As I said, we don't need to discuss moderation matters here - it's just as off-topic as the posts I deleted (though fractionally more necessary)! I'm sure the thread creator would rather discuss the topic for which the thread was created than who is banned or what's on ITV1 right now.

The moderator who issued any given Warning or Infraction will be happy to discuss your issue with you. If you want to talk about it with someone else, the admins (me, Duke, Der Alta) will oblige. You can, of course, always go straight to the top (Jordan) if nothing else will suffice. However, we won't discuss others issues with you - sort of a moderator Hippocratic Oath.

Usually, permanent bans are logged in the Banned User Log in the Help Desk.

Photo's are coming along nicely. Todays color filter is SEPIA and there are a few special photos and a competition.

Oh and some photos are implying things. Prizes go to whoever works those out as well.

Don't forget to do the story of the race pictures. It's pretty hard for me to do them as I wasn't there lol :)

Why not? I think your kinda missing the point of official series photographer. You take photos to summarize the race is finished as kind of... I dunno, memories? Not just take pictures whenever you feel like it or have a good background ;)
