And I bet it wouldn't be that way if the Red Bull**** team was like me - slow as an HRT...

That has nothing to do with the game though.

hah! That's what I call em too. Red BULL-S***! Everytime they (Vettel) win. It's sad, Mark only stays cus theres no where else to go. Theres obvious signs of preferential treatment going on there, but whatever. Everyone else scrambles to get to challenge Vettel, while that happens he scamps on ahead while the likes of Button and Hamilton get held up.

Maybe if Mark wasn't over half a second behind Seb in every qualifying session, that might change a little.

Besides, like it or not that's a lot of teams (top teams especially) downfall. Mclaren mainly in the past few seasons. Button and Hamilton are treated completely equally but they have such different driving styles, preferences, setup likenesses it's very hard to cater for both of their needs. They need to choose one driver to concentrate on for the seasons ahead to fully make a car right for them. Ferrari have chosen Alonso, and Red Bull have chosen Vettel so they need to choose "a favourite son". Problem is deciding between the two. Red Bull and Ferrari's choice was made for them basically. Long term probably Lewis is the option, although Button is driving fab this season.

Got a 1:12.1 in a stock Audi R10 with 601bhp :sly:

Cool, knock 2 seconds off :sly:

As you guys may know, I have a Geography school trip tomorrow. I should be back at around 4pm UK time which is well before the race starts. But if I get late, then you know why.

Well, I don't know if you know the saying: "People are treated equally if you treat them differently".
However, giving one a better car is simply being unfair, and not in relation to the above-standing saying :)

Anyway, looking forward to tomorrow - I hope the stand-in host will have some patience when it comes to my connection time so I can participate in the race.

Not racing: BK, PJ, Razor... anymore?

Whos hositing.. Did Mikethehockey fan get his desk or whatever he was waiting on?

Tissimo i think you should host. You probably have the best connection that will be online on time. I dont trust any euro network connections, and i think mikethehockeyfan still has disconnect problems

No no no. Your taking this from the wrong angle bombe. I don't mean a better car. Just a car catering for there driving style more, and more concentrating on what that one person wants for it. They'll be driving the same car, just catered to fit one of the drivers better :)

This is the problem for mclaren .... Imo they should make the car for button as Hamilton tends to be able to get the best out of any car

RACE TONIGHT! Ready to kick my a** tonight, folks?

Also, I find it funny that Golfer's location is Great Britain, Adam's location is UK and Jamman's location is England - who is taking GB?... I'm glad my country is just Denmark and nothing else.

Well UK is short for United Kingdom which i itself is short for "The United Kingdom of Northern Ireland and Great Britain" so AMF lives somewhere in either Northern Ireland, England, Wales or Scotland. I am being a bit more specific and crossing out Northern Ireland and Jamman is being very specific and crossing out Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Sorted.

I know which countries are in the UK, but I would expect Ponyville to be located in England ;)

You don't sound Scottish or Welsh when you talk in the mic though...

I don't care where I finish tonight, I just come to drive. I am slow, I don't know my own tyres and I have no intention to try and follow the leaders.

But I will warn you though, ramming me into the wall etc will make me pissed, and saying sorry isn't enough *golfer*.

EDIT: Another thing... I'm not racing the qualifier.

What a load of Bull todays race was...
Quali went well got 4th.... Hit drum on the way mind but we were side by side on the corner before the hairpin so their wasn't a lot we could do due to camber....
Race:
Intersesting wait in the lobby when Jake said something about me giving him room.
So i replied i will give you as much room as everyone else... from then on he was off with me in chat for some reason...
anyway in the race all was going well until jake caught me then hit me on lap 5 causing me to drop back to mu on lap 6 who consequently hit me...
then on lap 8 jake hit me again when their was loads of room...
then he hit me again on lap 18....
this put me in 11th were i had the weird glitch were my screen went black and i did a 360 on the massive straight???? mike saw it so maybe he will shed some light on it..???

so then i decided to quit seen as i was miles behind mike and my car had engine damage.

Jake Plz pm why you felt the need to hit me 3 bloody times??/

I cannot believe it. Disconnection will fighting for 1st, I would of possibley got repass him on the straight as well to retake the lead. Worse of, 4 laps away from 90% distance of race. :(

THE TOYOTA GT-ONE GOT A
ONE-TWO FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great start to the race (aided by Jake having issues at quali) and kept up with Jamman while bein shouted at to go away so he could catch Tom. Then I hit a point where my 1.10s became 1.11s and they pulled out an unmatcheable gap. When they pitted, I missed the oppurtunity thinking that it wouldnt be them pitting so I then crafted a strategy on the fly. On lap 38/39 there was alot of talk about me going through to the end of the race from there (The parts when I wasn't talking was cus I was listening to you lot and racing and woking out wether it would work to go long - I see the need for race engingeers) and decided not to do it however staying out on lap 40 nearly cost me the 2nd place. Pitted on lap 41 and charged down on Jake by 2 seconds a lap pretty much exactly to pass him on the exit of the last turn on lap 49 :) This means that is my highest race finish so far. WOOO!!

Positives
-Managed to rescue a failing race
-Managed to create an on the fly pit strategy that worked
-Passed Jake out of the final turn

Negatives
-Lack of testing with an oil change etc meant I was off the pace during practising and suffered a poor start of quali position
-On the fly pit strategy shouldn't of been needed. I should of made two different strategies and chosen during the race

Very unlucky to Tom. I only deserve 3rd but thats racing. If it was real life and your chassis broke then it would be a DNF. Still a shame though.
