working on another trailer video too, anything you hommes would like to see in it?

also, i cant review the last race i dont have a replay - usually tiss uploads it just gimmi a few days to actually watch it

I would just wish I got some response on my look-through... it only takes 10 mins as it all happens on the first 8 laps...

A good video needs:
Crashes, heroes and people getting shot bad guys...

That's a long post...

1. You bumped into me, and I mentioned it - what's the big deal, I said you should forget it, I don't want to watch that again.
2. If Jake is getting a penalty (if, if, if) for the pace lap so are you, that's what I mean with it. To be honest, Mike, tissimo, Kirk and I should have let you start at the back since you slowed down so much. I understand you and Jake caught up to the others, but we didn't :)
3. If we had to look through everyone's race THEN we would be sad people, right?
4. You never called me an idiot, no, but your tone (if you can call it that since it's a chat) wasn't exactly the positive one ;)

You don't know 'tone' from text. There's no such thing. I bumped you, you bumped me on the straight. I took the turn to the inside, you took it on the outside. We got into eachother. I told you I don't care about penalties. I was slow because I was looking out for fellow racers, so slowing up means little if were racing without someone. Saying things like 'start at the rear' just makes it seem like you're an ass, especially when I explained myself. It's not my problem if you didn't catch up to the others. Why did we start the race when there were people who weren't even there that were supposed to be there? It's only SAD when you select individuals based on incidents you were involved in, that goes for anyone who is in charge of investigating incidents. If someone doesn't report it but there's still ramming going on, does that make it a non-incident? See where I'm coming from? You gotta read the whole comment and take from that what you want. The 'tone' as you call it wasn't condescending, it was basically a joke but the truth. Being penalized makes no difference to me. I'm not here to be all serious about some race on a video game. I'm here to have fun, and I thought that this series was about that. But when people say things like what you said, and try to talk about penalties but exclude yourself, what's 'fun' about that? Nothing. That said, I'm good with everything in this series and these races. If I got into you I already apologized for it. You got past me regardless, so what's the issue? Right? You wouldn't have been there in that position if it weren't for another incident with another driver hitting me twice in the same lap, but I don't go crying about it because it's not that big of a deal. I just let people know what went on, and how I feel about it. But no reason to carry it on. That's what I was trying to get at. But I guess you didn't realize it, so now I hope you do.

I just want you to know- that when I say 'you', I'm speaking in general. Not singling out anyone.

One thing that should be featured in the trailer is my pass on Jake just before the end of the race. If it was a race edit then having me chasing him down would be good to watch as well.

I agree with bombe, we need a few bad guys in it. Crashes and stuff. A good possibility is for BK to run in offline and cause some major crashes where the car is rolling and stuff. You could also have cars flying over kerbs like Nick Heidfeld in the F1 trailer. Thtat would lokk great in slow mo.

Music? Well you can do something epic or something up tempo.


You could try something like this? Even borrowing the audio.

Tis is better but is alot like what we have already. I think that adding in those deep voices talking about the sport in riddles would be good though.

I'm wondering if there is a spot open to use the 787B, get some practice in it these two last rounds... Tissimo-Razor-Tom only makes 3, so it should be possible...

Anything worse than a 1:08 I will be disappointed with. Anyway move on from SSR5. Look forward to Monza :)

Also, as far as pictures go, I will try to have them up ASAP. I will also try to have a look at all the incidents and check of fastest lap.

I'm using SSR5 as my test track (for car selection) because I like it and its very technical. It was a 1:09.450 with no slipstream! :scared:

First sector was a 26.3 as well! :scared: :scared:

But I'm not telling which car it was in :p (Not Audi '01)

I dont know how you all are so quick at SSR5, I think the best I managed with draft and low fuel was only a 1:11.1 LOL! Though, I'm not that quick of a driver.. Mid pack speed wise.
 
My Pescarolo time was 1:35.5xx, but I'm a bit quicker in the 787B.

I would love to know where going outside the track is allowed... personally, I think it should be allowed to go outside the track in the .. eeehhmmm.. here:

It's either make no holds barred there, or everyone is going to have to really mediate their pace. I think when it's time to push people are going to use that area anyway, I agree bombe.
 
Are we talking about the run off after Ascari and onto the back straight? Real life, all motorsport allows it so I think we should too.

I was thinking the entire section you see in the picture... I think they use the kerbs / green asphalt (or whatever it is!) massively in real life too, and since we all know it's faster we're going to think "what the heck" at least a couple of times in the race - either to save a driving mistake or to close the gap so we can open the DRS down the straight...

Yep. We all know, me being the GTPlanet official worst cheater ever, that i'll be doing it constantly. Heck I say it's legal. loll
 
Its legal IMO to use all of that due to the fact F1 uses it :)

anyone watch the ARL live stream??? it was quite good
