What weather bug? It's just random when the weather changes. In my lounge earlier the rain stopped after 20 minutes - and sometimes it rains for several hours, just like in real life.

And although we "only" were 8 it could have been a good race...

The bug is the fact it starts after 5 mins everytime
 
We've had races with weather change on without rain, so that's not the entire truth, Adam :)
 
Whoa you guys have had a night. Can anyone summarise what happened? Did you race at Monza or not? I missed it because I had to go to a party in Central London lol. :(

No race.

We were 8 guys in the lounge (Jake's lounge):
Jake
Seth
Me
Golfer
Jamman
Aqua
Adam
Vegas

It opened kind of late because there was no host. 6 past race start golfer, Jamman and Tom takes over the room; golfer changes track and starts to race the FGT around SSR5 together with Jamman and Aqua. Before that he had been driving a SLS "playing F1 safety car", while others were setting their best times for the quali race (and he started the race WITH that car, even though he had been told not to).

After the track- and car change I left the room and turned off the PS3 and Jake gave up trying to host.

The 3 guys didn't really want to race, which is why there was no race.
 
That sounds fun. Golfer, Jamman, Kirk and me used to mess around as no one turned up at golfer's epic fail of a RallyCross Series. I guess that was the right thing to do as there weren't near enough people. At least I didn't miss Monza though. I was so angry.

When only 7 from the series show up at Monza, perhaps it's because no one likes the track? If it's Monza next Saturday I'm not coming.

True and I agree with you. But I just think that with half the regulars not even showing up, it would have been better anyway to postpone it. :)

Funny how you and Jake have resulted to name calling all through today yet not once have me, Jamman or Golfer insulted you once.

I did want to race, however not many people had turned up and it was getting

a. getting boring setting laps around a wet Monza on my own and
b. generally nothing else to do.

Of course when more people showed up we would of changed the settings back and in the meantime, what's wrong with getting a few harmless photos?

(There was no mention of the qualifying race starting anytime soon whatsoever)

I eat earlier just to make these races and when there are 8 people there are enough people to race. When some of those decide to ruin the chance of a race I get pissed. Is it difficult to understand? I felt that you were wasting my time!

Also, why would you call us names? Golfer (and you and others who participated) were the ones who destroyed the lobby, not us, why would you have been mad at us?

Stop with the defensive nonsense. Golfer acted stupidly, and moreso, annoyingly (intentionally), and me and Bombe were really frustrated and annoyed by it.

Also Bombe totally agree, it's a freakin video game, the last thing I want is to sit around idly wasting time because some people are being super immature.

Edit: At 2 after I said quali race in 13 minutes (15 after), funny how all of you say that nothing was mentioned about a time, when Bombe remembered almost verbatim what I said. Because, you know, he was actually....paying attention.

There were 8 ppl in lobby, not 5. We were gonna qualify in 5 minutes. He destroyed the room. He's a disrespectful little moron, and I think he's probably sitting out the season finale, if Bombe agrees with me, which I think he does.

Ok well as you can see, all the things I said were about Golfer lol.

You're entitled to an opinion until facts prove it wrong. It's a fact that I did say that. If your opinion is that there weren't enough people to race, that's fine.

All Golfer had to do was talk about it, and we could have agreed on something, THEN messed around and goofed off.
 
Alright guys, this is far out of hand. This isn't going to end well, someone's going to be either infracted or banned and/or the thread being closed. Let's stay calm, please.

So, onto Circuit de la Sarthe next weekend, correct? Might miss it...sucks. Looking forward to S5 :D
 
Goin to have to use the 787B if I can't find the Bentley by that time. I don't know how to do the 'ticket trick'. If someone would care to explain it, I'd be happy to try for a Bentley somehow with it. I'm sure I'd have to purchase a memory stick or something though.

As for Monza, I was looking forward to it, even with the rain. I did 1:35's easily with the 908, even though I wasn't used to it. In the rain I wasn't too bad either. It's too bad that some people acted foolishly when we were trying to get on with a qualifying race. The 3lap battle had already been established. But for some foolishness in the room, we had 7 or 8 people ready to race. So Jake, Bombe, I and LR left. I created another room in a public lobby, only Jake and LR showed up. I asked LR for his 787 tune and he started moaning how he didn't want to type. I changed the rules to LaSarthe then he ended up leaving cus I guess he was heart broken that I changed the grip to real when offline. He ended up leaving after Jake did and nothing came of this weekend. Stellar.
