Except for the fact it wasn't golfers fault the race got postponed/cancelled. It was postponed/cancelled because there wasn't enough people to dignify a race

8 people isn't enough to do a race? bull! We had enough there its losers who cant race for real in wet conditions who fudged it up for the rest of us. Who plays 'safety car' when bermuda or Tiss are there? No one. It was bs cus some little kids were getting a kick out of not having the usual hosts there.

There are so many things I wanna say about that post, but I think I'll keep them in reserve for the benefit of not starting an argument ;)

+1

And about there only being 8 guys... well, it could have something to do with the track.

If everyone wanted to race every round, maybe Monza could come after La Sarthe or be a S5 pre-season race.

But I will. Here they are:

You actually thought I would say them? Haha and you think I'm stupid!!

No it isn't. The field would be so spread and the race would be boring.

(Nobody mention the GTP Tyre Challenge races after the half way point in the season)

Also, it is officialy Kirks fault that no one came to the tyre challenge races because attendance was good at TGTT and Nurburgring. Then everything went downhill and only one thing changed..... Kirk dominated TGTT after my tires went off and in Nurb, he dominated in a FGT on a no stop strategy and still had plenty of tyre left. He could of responded with pace at any moment. The X2010 round may of had issues as well.

In other news Furinkazen (host of the TOCA series) is such a cheat :p He made me crash in to him under the SC on the restart by braking suddenly. I lost my front wing and I needed to pit but the SC was on pit road. I didn't have time to follow it so I tried overtaking it round the outside but crashed in to the pit wall.

I also didn't catch the safety car train and was half a lap down on you guys.:grumpy:

(Well, and the lap I already lost due to spinning/crashing/getting distracted/seeing if I could drift.) :sly:

Can't wait for Abu Dhabi tomorrow. 100%. Near full car grid. Day/night transition. Perfection.

Also, I am getting really excited about Battlefield 3 and Skyrim now. Everytime I race at Abu Dhabi and see the bulrry night sky, I get excited for the frontline of war and the screach of the dragons.

I'm not really sure what's going on, but as I said Saturday - whenever I'm not at a race on Saturdays it seems all hell breaks loose.

I didn't skip the race because I just felt like it, I was busy in the morning & then I had something come up which kept me busy the rest of the day.

I can't figure out why it was difficult for you guys to carry on the race with out me being there. If the majority felt there were not enough drivers to make the race worthwhile I would have been fine with you guys deciding to race next week or a shorter distance. I'm a little disappointed that some of you just choose not to even drive LMPs in the lobby and ruin it for anyone else who wanted to race.

I've got other things to deal with in the real world and I'm 90% sure I won't be able to race this weekend either. I'm stuck moving again to a new place ( you may remember I just moved 2 months ago) so I probably won't have internet by
Saturday.

Monza is Cancelled &
Since I wont be there this weekend Round 7 : La Sarthe is postponed until I can be there.

I'd like to request that you guys please keep the F1 2011 talk to a minimum in here, or at least don't devote entire posts to it. Mods are going to be annoyed and probably close the thread if it keeps up.

In one of the season 5 pre-seasons, can I drive a Safety Car of my choice for the pace lap and then steward the race? Int he season, I want to race but at least we can test this

To be a safety car driver you have to keep the car on the road without spinning out or crashing. If we learnt anything from Saturday it's that if we ever have a safety car, you wouldn't be driving it. The safety car would need a safety car :)

He's safer than the driver on f1 2011 :p

Because this is an open weekend, I would like to extend an invitation to our league members to join me for an F1 2011 event at the same time as our usual Le Mans series event. This is open exclusively to GTP Le Mans Series members. 16 slots, first-come, first-served. PSN: mikethehockeyfan
