Just watched the Season 3 Suzuka race... Mod allmighty, what a race.
It's easy to see that it was my first race with the wheel. I remember I was so exhausted and started to make a lot of stupid mistakes at the end going from 3rd to 6th. That's never going to happen again, just so you know, lol.

Also came to think of this: since that race Jamman changed, didn't he? Back then he was possible to keep up with in his GT-ONE, now it's not... damn. Good times, I want to go back there, lol.

I know what you mean with the wheel thing. Indy pre-season was my first race with mine. I didn't make any mistakes but I was tired lol.

Race win/championship win confidence :sly:

Meh say what you think, but mods here suck. Not just with us, but I've heard and seen so many ridiculous stories of them and their decisions, it's almost laughable. The only cool mod was Delphic Reason, but he never seems to be around any more.

Think of it like a restaurant. Most of us like the food and the atmosphere. Unfortunately most patrons find the wait staff rude and unprofessional, but are willing to put up with it BC there's nowhere else to eat.

That's still a matter of choice, and besides, there are many LMP leagues across the internet, some of them already have trolls in them, so you would blend in perfectly.👍

Honestly, why does everybody make fun of golfer for being annoying, he's one of the normal ones here.👍

This is like a restaurant, indeed. Most of us like the food and atmosphere, but the waitstaff are rude and unprofessional, and they don't bother kicking out the rude and unruly patrons who are ruining it for the rest of the people who are trying to enjoy their meals.

The restaurant is so understaffed, they can't even kick out the two tables who brought small dogs into the dining room that are now sh**ting on the carpet.

Spot on with one exception: There are always other places to eat, you know that and same goes for these forums: there are others to choose from if you don't like it here.

That being said, GTP is probably the best forums I've been a part of, you guys are just being cyber tough guys, lol. Follow the rules and we would all be happy.

That is seriously unjustified especially as whoever the mod was then went on to say "well google words you have trouble with, otherwise we have to suffer from not knowing what you mean". And wholly untrue. Someone alleged that once, but it wasn't true then either. One of our staff members is profoundly dyslexic and others work with SEN.

Oh and spelling? Not part of the AUP.

The only people who tell ridiculous stories of the staff and their decisions are those on the receiving end of those decisions. The only people who are on the receiving end of staff decisions are people who agreed to our rules and then chose to break them.

Oh, incidentally, abusing the site staff will not be tolerated. So goodbye.

If you have issues with moderator actions, bring them up with site admin (me, Duke, Der Alta). All moderator actions are logged and cannot be hidden so we are party to everything. If you have issues with admin actions, bring them up with the site owner, Jordan.

Incidentally, since Jordan wrote the rules that we enforce, every time you ignore the rules and force the staff to act, you're shoving two fingers up at him personally.

Anyway, good luck to everyone else who is in the series as I did have a great races in the minimal time spent here. 👍

EDIT: I personally think you should remove the ban on jakegirad, since he only did 1 thing wrong and if he gets banned for that then surely daan should be demoted for called a banned member a (apologies for masked swearing) d*ck no matter what the circumstances were.

Anti-staff remarks won't be tolerated here. Feel free to take your demotion request to Jordan if you so desire, but you won't find much support when the entire context of why Daan called a member a 🤬 is taken into account.

And, for the record, Daan's right on the money with that one.

Feel free to return to talking about the racing series now.

There is nothing that says you have to commit a certain number of offences before being removed from this site.

I personally think that people shouldn't bother to agree to rules they have no intention of following (or in fact even reading) and criticise the staff for the consequences of not following them. I personally think that if you don't like how a site is run, you should stop using it - perhaps even go away and do it better yourself - rather than insulting the people who allow it to function while still using it.

Abusing site staff (as staff) is a straight up ban. The site owner, Jordan, has said on many occasions that he asks us to enforce his rules and will not tolerate people who abuse us for doing what he wants us to do. You are wholly welcome, of course, to take it up with him.

"Dick" is not swearing - it isn't censored by our word filter - and the member in question wasn't a member of the site. In fact he'd already been banned four times at that point and has since been banned another five times. I know, I banned him seven of those times.

Now, as I said before, if you have any issue with any of this, please contact Jordan:

If you include the multiply-banned mu675 - who, as a member previously banned from this site, should not be permitted into any series and be reported on sight - four people have been banned. It is unfortunate and will, regrettably, have effects on this series (unless the removed people can e-mail their contributions).

We - or if you aren't happy with us, Jordan - are happy to continue this discussion by PM, but I'm sure bermudakid would like to get his series back now.
