Youre idea is good but i do think the slowest ones should get the best car to balance it all out vs the good drivers, not a bad idea
Random idea: to pick cars next season we could have a few kart races and also qualifying sessions to see true skill. Whoever has the lowest number when you add both the race and quali results together gets first pick. Also there would be "rounds" so 3 top drivers can't all pick one car
on my day off for teams / drivers / cars on a race-to-race basis but everyone keeps changing from week-to-week / quitting the series / getting banned / re-joining the series / changing cars / etc.
Not a bad idea but I wouldn't do it in Karts. Maybe a certain LMP as that's what we drive in the series full time
Why don't you just measure it on a week by week basis? For example:

This is my F1 league spreadsheet. Similar format to this except obviously with the less rounds. Which should make it easier. Much easier to keep track of everyone's progress too, and if someone loses points for a penalty etc you can go back and correct it for that certain round![]()
What router did you get? I need a cure for the same ailment, man!In other news, it seems I can now play GT5 online like everybody else. Two days in a row now without the stupid error + the races in BK's lobby the other night. Somebody must help me find out if I can host lobbies myself one of the coming days, that would be a miracle!
What has changed? The new router, apparently. The two previous ones I had was the same model, but the new one is different - here's hoping. No, I know it has improved, definately.

Congratulations on succesfully coloring in my spreadsheet in grey Jamman.
I'll try out the cars tomorrow, in testing online with you guys. I tried Tiss' 787 setup, wasn't really thrilled with it, but that was pre-spec 2, so it possibly may be better. Perhaps bombe, you and I can dial it in for my driving style. I like sharp turn-in, but it has to be stable, i like it to be really tossable, not a big fan of oversteer though.
Congratulations on succesfully coloring in my spreadsheet in grey Jamman. Looked way better in black and blue. Any one not believing me, I can send you the link and it will have my google account attached as the owner. But I do think that my spreadsheet design (ambitious and rubbish so it becomes nice and simple) would work well with our series. I created a seperate sheet that can be duplicated and used to hold information on the race that just occured so we have race time and all that.
Also, we need a championship sponsor and a racing seat as the series prize. Those WSGT guys over there have 120 sign ups!!
with your track record of knocking people off the track while being lapped
I tried using yours like that but it buggered up everytime I tried to use it plus it looked horrible. I found it easier just to create a new one. I created that.
And created a spreadsheet that has the exact same design as mine. Hmmm.
I think you guys should run the weather to what it'll be like in real life at the moment of time. So if its raining in Suzuka just before you start, set the weather to rain in GT5 etc etc. Although I think someone's mentioned this before?
I've looked at a few detailed weather on suzuka race track and they all point to rain showers during Saturday
