well what time is normal time in GMT? THe clocks have changed since I last raced but I don't know about the USA so I don't know when the race is.
 
That was a tough race! 5th place is a huge accomplishment since I've never driven these cars much, or raced in the rain much. So I'd say my first race with you guys is a success 👍 See ya'll later.

Hehe. Easily my best drive ever personally. Led every lap, pole position, fastest lap (I hope it was anyway with a 1:42.3) and race win by well over a minute. Loved every second of it. I doubt I will take a win like that again :)

OK I lied. Today was better :D No pole, but near enough led every lap (bar a few corners :P), fastest lap, race win by over 2 minutes and in the rain. And mainly, at my favorite track ever, and the one I most wanted to win at a second time. Awesome, enjoyed every second of it again. Can now tick off "win in the rain". Thank you all for the congrats messages :)

Now on to Spa :)

I heard that in GT5, racing softs work just as well in wet weather as rain tires. Is this true? Will you guys be using racing softs exclusively? I've done a ton of racing on this game...but not much rain racing lol

try google next time, the race is always 7 uk time
 
i want to sign up for GTP Le Mans Prototype Series what's my next step to do? and is there actually any spot too sign up?.
 
yeh the physics are not right... especially on a wheel. A pad is so much easier sadly

There are spots open, We welcome new drivers, we had 3 new ones today , while a lot of regulars couldnt make it

Steps are easy,

1. Read the OP about the Series

2. Add me to your psn list ( so you can join the races )

3. Be active in the thread and read new posts whenever you log into GTP, ( least like once every 2 days )

4. Show up on race day

Edit: i read the OP and agree with the rules and regs, i'll give the Sauber C9 a go! Aim: trying to get a podium place would be good!

Yeah I'm sorry I bailed early, I really hate racing in the rain and I hate how GT is sooooo predictible with rain, but I at least wanted to make an appearance (no matter how brief it was). So hopefully next week I can complete a full race.....if it doesn't rain.

I made a new thread in the group. I just put the link for now. If you want me to post all 26 pics in there, I will when I'm more awake lol

Also, is there anywhere I can see the current points standings? Or is it like a secret spreadsheet? Haha
 
This season I've been utterly aplalling in comparison to what I can be capable of. I haven't finished a race and I've started 2 I think...

Anyway from now on I'm gonna be committed to this league..

So I missed the race but will hopefully be there at Spa.

Anyone been watching the race of champions? It isn't just F1 that Vettel has a new helmet for. This one is same layout as before (think F1 2011 design) but the blue highlights are black and the wings for life logo at the chin section is bright yellow. Plus, the wings for life is flashing on and off constantly. So if the yellow circle with the bull sticking out of it.
 
not sure if I have time to finish this series as its a busy month from now on unless you are having a break and starting again after new year?

Those pictures are awesome :)

The start was hilarious when you watch the replay back. Every single person bar Jake went skating straight on at turn 1. Jake then made up for it by going off at turn 2 lol :sly: Helped my race though as I managed to get in to the lead and away before Paginas and MU's spins going up Dunlop, which caught everyone up.
