Sunrise. A day ago. Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.

Twilight in reverse . . . and yet not quite, since not hastening away trailing light, leaving dark, but storming towards us, unbearably bright, blinding, stark, unstoppable, glimmering with absolutely unimaginable power.
We are helpless against its power.
We are helpless without its power.
This, then, is absolute power.
