GTP on IE

I've been using Netscape for a while now, and I owe it all to GTP. GTP simply wouldn't run on IE. The page loaded on line at a time, all the way down, and take several minutes until it crashed IE. It runs fine on Netscape. Now I don't want to hear a bunch of stuff about how much Microsoft sucks. I just want to know if anyone else had or has the problem, or knows what causes it.

What version? Something must be wrong with your computer. The site is designed with IE in mind, and more than 80% of all our visitors use it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my computer. This is the only problem I've ever had. And Netscape works great. I think it was v. 6 but I'd have to check. And all other websites worked fine.

The problem seemed to center around that pinstripe background which I wouldn't even notice if IE didn't draw it one painstaking line at a time.

Well, if you're waiting for the browser to draw a 2x1 GIF background image, something is wrong. Pages load almost instantaneously for me in both IE6 and Firefox, on several different machines. I would love to help but I'm really at a loss as to what your problem could be. I just hope GTP7 will clear all of these issues up. I've never seen so many people with so many different problems. I must really suck at this...

I think most problems will be in a way caused by either the computer or outdated software on the computer Jordan (not your servers/software). I use IE v6.0 and have no problems. :)

GTP has never gone down on me while i've been on Firefox. I did IE for about 5minutes on GTP and it crashed. So I goto firefox and its up.

What he said.

GTP was closing IE. I'd get 5 minutes at best out of it, then IE shut down. I switched to Firefox and it's all fine - but now eBay does to Firefox what GTP did to IE... :D

I have literally just been having problems with IE. I would install Fiorefox if it wasn't for the fact my dad will just blame any future problems with the computer on me no matter what goes wrong.
