Welcome to the second season of the :gtpflag: drag version of the SPEED Channel's show Pass Time. For those of you unfamiliar with the show I have included the following clip and also, here is a link to the shows Wikipedia page with an overview.

picture.php

Before each pass the racer and his or her car are brought out, and the contestants are permitted to ask questions about the car, such as the size or power of the engine, the type and size of the tires, etc. After all questions have been asked, the contestants secretly enter their predictions of the car's elapsed time. The car then makes its pass. The contestant whose prediction was closest to the actual time wins.

Ties for individual passes are awarded to the contestant who locked in their time first. If a contestant correctly guesses the time of a run exactly, the contestant wins a bonus.

^^Thats pretty much how the show works. This will run basically the same. I will announce a car. Contestants (you) will be given an allotted amount of time to post their questions. Then contestants will be asked to submit their predictions and afterwards I will reveal the time ran. Each contestant from the current round will be allowed one question. Questions will be asked and answered publicly. Time predictions will be pm'ed to me and I will Post publicly each contestants prediction and the actual pass time after I have received all the entries. Prizes will be awarded to the one with the closest time and will be random items chosen by me from my own personal collection! Could be cars, tickets, rare paints, who knows lol. I will be sending all prizes from my gtp_kennyblanco account so you will have to send me a fr to collect. Cars will be random and tuned to varying levels and possibly even stock so keep that in mind while posting your questions. I will give some general information about the car when I announce it to you to help out a little bit but it will be up to you to ask for more specific details. In addition to winning prizes, the winner of the current round will get to advance to the next round for another chance to compete! Good luck and happy gaming!!! 👍

Due to time constraints, rounds will take place on a weekly basis. I will do my best to maintain a regular schedule, which will be as follows:

The car will be announced each Sunday before midnight eastern time.

Contestants will have until midnight Wednesday to post their questions.

I will answer questions by midnight Thursday.

Contestants will then have until midnight Saturday to submit their predictions to me via pm.

I will post the results on Sunday prior to announcing the car for the next round.

*If a contestant is unable to post their question in the allotted time they will forfeit their position for that round.

Yeah bro I'll be in, it should be interesting to try to guess those.

Cool, I'll add you to the schedule.👍

To anyone else interested please post so I can add you to the schedule. I'll be revealing the first car shortly!

Round 1 Car:

Hei vs KTalloutdrags vs c-losk

'00 SVT Cobra

This was the first car I made as it is one of my favorite in the game. I kept it well within the realms of realism. This is the level of freedom pd should have given us to begin with. 👍

942hp, 1244kg, 918ft-lb torque. I used the grip multiplier to achieve a realistic launch. You see the beast launch in the pic!

Hei
What is the grip multiplier used?
Hei
I know what the grip multiplier is. I'm an avid hybrider. It's my gt pass question, what hex number did you use for the mustang on grip.
I used the app to create it. I've yet to try to build a car using hex editing. Sadly, I don't really have a lot of spare time to learn to do it properly so the app is great for me!! The grip multiplier was 150 though. For reference to anyone unfamiliar 100=normal grip if I understand correctly.

What engine swap you choose?
427 from the '66 Shelby Cobra. 👍 I achieved the 942hp with the hp multiplier. With all parts installed it actually has 1100+ hp but I didn't run it at that.

What tire compound are you running?
The tires used were racing superglue soft (v).👍

I'll update everything in a bit. Just got home and looking at the news right now. My prayers go out to all who are impacted by the attacks in Boston.

Once everyone has submitted their questions I'll post them and the answers in the original round 1 post so everything will be in one place and easy to find just as I did for the last comp.

I have also updated the schedule to include everyone. If there is anyone else interested in participating just post and let me know.👍

Hei
150 is what I was looking for, works for me.

Lol yeah, I was trying to make it so it would launch right but not so hard that it wheelied all the way down the track. How it is in the picture is as high as it goes and it only does it for about 60 feet. It's sweet as hell. I'll try to get a video of it up somehow.
