I already know that this is the wrong forum to post this (please move wherever it fits best, mods) but since this is the forum I frequent the most I decided to post here....

I decided to purchase a GTP Premium membership for myself due to Jordan's campaign for Christmas (https://www.gtplanet.net/help-gtplanet-fight-pancreatic-cancer-in-2012/) going on.

So I then had an idea for Christmas. I am giving away a lifetime GT Planet Premium membership. As you can see, I have been here over 6 years and I don't post alot. I have used this site for valuable information regarding GT since I signed up. I want to give back....

Post why I should give it to you or who I should give it to.

Someone will have a new membership before midnight.....

edit: I will be checking this thread during the day but I may not respond to the posts.... I will however make sure that I choose before midnight EST.... thanks for those who have responded....

This should be in the Rumble Strip.
My mum has cancer at the moment, and while I am premium, it's only a year so it will run out. As my mum has breast cancer, the money will not help her directly, but it will help others like her and I know how tough it is for family members to deal with this horrible disease. And I'm a great person and a good member of the community. :)
 
I think I would be a good candidate.

I am pretty-much a regular on here, I don't spam, all of my posts are helpfull and I think I'm a good guy (:lol:).


I would have bought a Premium myself but my country doesn't support PayPal and I don't have a credit-card myself.

I don't deserve a premium membership. So why even bother writing an essay on why I think I do? I'm not a greedy person, I'm not going to drool over a premium membership like everyone else does. Anyway, I like how you're helping in the fight against cancer! 👍

Wow, you're by far the only person I saw who joined the forum that early :eek: I'm already a premo so...

They should have a small section in [My GTPlanet] that says [Paid Subscriptions].
 
I would love to be gifted with it, as you may know I started the GTP Secret santa 2011, to encourage the spirit Of giving, It attracted about 150 people and accumulated over 800+ posts, and counting, I just think I helped spread the christmas cheer around GTP forums, merry christmas 👍 :)

You can have access to the infield, store more PMs, and more, but I cant see the list right now.


There's why I think I deserve it. I'm always helpful, respectful, and nice. I post here quite a bit as you can see and plan to be here for a while. Good luck to everyone else. :)

I think any of the members here on GTPlanet who have helped me creating GTlife are eligible for a premium membership, without them I wouldn't be able to create the magazine. :)
 
I was going to say I think I should be eligible but after seeing some of the posts on here I am retracting my case.
 
I'd love to have a premium membership. I haven't been here very long, but I love the community and the love we all have for GT. If someone else wins I understand, but it sure would make my Christmas if I won.

You sir, deserve it. When cancer hits, it hits hard.
When my mother was in the hospital for stomach problems, seeing her in that wheelchair with a drip following behind already hurts me so much. Knowing and seeing your loved ones with a life-threatening disease hurts the family members a lot. I understand the pain and you sir, deserve this premium gift.

I sincerely wish for the best for your mother.
 
I personally wouldn't mind it. I try to respect other members and the all powerful AUP, and I try to be an all around good member of the community. However, I don't need premium membership, and in all honesty I probably don't deserve it. I vote that you give it to matty.
 
I think you should give it to me. I've been here since the first day of August 2009 and almost everyday I contribute to GTP. I have always wanted to have premium until my great friend once got me a month Premium in early 2010. I took the chance and it was awesome!

But now, I don't have the same privelegge. I don't have a credit card, parents wouldn't help and there's no way I can get GTP Premium. Seen all my friends here got Premium, well I feel strange for not having one. So hopefully I will be lucky enough to have one. Thanks!

Sorry to hear that about you mum. I also think you should get the premium subscription.
 
I'd give the membership to the poor kids that don't know it's Christmas because they're too busy not riding their bikes.

(I know that doesn't sound funny, but when it comes from my wife's mouth it's hysterical.)

I just purchased an annual membership, and will most likely again next year. If you want to give me the membership, I'll still make the annual contribution.

Great cause and a great site.

I'm actively involved in the community, and even wrote an article in GTLife. I also welcome newer members wherever I can. I have been here over a year now and plan to be here for much longer, but I don't have a bank account currently so I'm unable to buy premium for myself.

It's incredibly generous of you to give this away though. 👍
