GTP referral on registration?

My mate was making an account and one of the questions was along the lines of "who reccomended this site for you?" and he put 'ellisnutt'. Is there any good reason for this for me or is it just a spontaneous question?

Maybe one of the higher-ups can but as far as I'm aware, no. The only reason I know who my one person is is because it's my wife.

I have got about 3 of my mates to join this site (only stayed around for a few posts) but obviously didn't put my name in .

Unfortunately, no, that would be a core feature, and the current software has reached its end-of-life. There won't be any new features introduced until I move the site to a new platform.

I don't know, sometime in 2012. The app platform is independent of the forum platform and its appearance would not be affected.
