GTP Registration fustration

Okay, this has been pissing me off from beyond.

I deleted all my online time records to start afresh to register for the GTP_ thingy since I'm a diehard Gran Turismo fan, I want to do some real racing against GTP members (but never had a chance to really play GT4 due to PS2 issues and funds) I've had GT5 Prologue for a well over 5 months now right after I got my PS3 Slim (launch day for Slim) and I've never really went into the Arcade mode and now since I want to try and join the GTP Registry, I made a laptime of ****** with Driving Force GT and well...my "online record" is STILL ****** and I don't want that one, it is the only one it'll let me save as Ghost Replay and it has mistakes in the driving line. There is no such option in the game to select "save best laptime/ghost replay" so where did the admin pull that out of? his ass?

Err, hang on, what? You go into time trial, set your fastest lap, and save the best lap in the menu options within the race menu screen, I thought that was pretty straight forward.

I've read the original post, in which you've posted the laptimes despite the rules of the Registry not to, and that's allowed me to identify your problem.

Your new laptime is slower than your "online record". The game will save your fastest ghost, which is the one you don't apparently want.

That's not Sphinx's fault, GTPlanet's fault, vBulletin's fault nor even GT5P's fault.

You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.
To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Page' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay' option.

I just pulled this from (Sphinx's arse) the WRS race specs.
It's the same as the GTP Registry spec.

If you need a different ghost due to a bad (dirty or whatever) lap, back out of the race and restart it to get a different ghost replay.
As being in the WRS for a couple years I have had to do this more than once.

Just try to be more pleasant with your wording as many will take it the wrong way.
It (gtplanet) seems like a angry atmosphere as of late.
