Got the gt6 demo... The races are lame...


Is it just me or do the arms look...weird?...
 
The AI is trash, sounds are meh, physics and graphics are amazing.

Physics are pretty good. The body roll seems pretty over exaggerated when you watch it. Feels good, but looks weird IMO.
 
Not what I wanted to hear. :( I think the PC route is the way I am going to go until a version for the ps4 comes out.

Still hope though. Kaz said something like the sounds not being final.

I know this isnt the final version as it was said in an interview that the ai would be changed.

Check out asseto corsa... Looks pretty balls!
 
Really enjoyed watching last Saturday's race at Motegi. Both class battles were quite intense throughout the duration of the race.

I sure the heck hope it's not the final version as there's only 2 cars, and 3 tracks!! :sly: Not to mention all those hundreds of pesky speed demon's who seem to just grind away so they can get a faster TT time than me! :drool:

I've yet to play it, but from what I've seen this is only the gt academy. The only changes that have been made are what was done at E3. I have a gut feeling that this demo won't be much like gt6 when it hits shelves :)
 
I myself never bought prologue, but how big of a difference was actual gameplay when we got to gt5?

I think it was pretty similar. I'm not totally sold on this GT6 is awesome argument yet.
 
I'm just going to hold out for a while on GT6.... Anywho, how's everyone doing at Nurburgring GP/F? I haven't been practicing at all, more interested in writing the race reports for my Rolex Coverage thread this season. :D

I haven't practiced yet. Although, this track should be fun!

And ill get that thread linked soon... Everyone should check it out!

The draft effect seems to have been toned down a fair bit, and the tire squeal has changed at certain angles. Also corner exits feel slightly different. But it is like gt5s brother physics wise.
 
It really reminds me of GT4 for some reason. Feels a lot better than GT5, plus I'm still fast at it, so I like it.

I didn't really try since my times don't matter (not old enough to qualify) but it was kinda fun.

I wish they would've given us a racecar to try out. Then the whole "over exaggerated body roll" debate could be.... Explained (wrong word) if its just for road cars, or if its also on racecars.

Apparently the challenge at the very end uses the GT-R GT3, so we'll get to find out how race cars handle.
