GTP Slow When Logged In...

I've pretty much just put up with this since 2021 but lately (since the start of this week) it's gotten so bad when logged in that it frequently just times out. Same contexts as before (Desktop, phone, multiple ISPs, phone data).
Same here, in the past couple of days the forum has been unusable for me. The news section works fine, but when I navigate in the forum section the page loads blank 9 out of 10 times. I tried Chrome and Edge on the mobile and Chrome on the laptop and the problem is the same every time.

Not my immediate area of expertise, but what's in just the "colo" field if you visit this link:

Edit: Today it did this a couple times

This. Relentless "white page of nothing", i need to keep refreshing and if I try to use PM or edit functions I get "oops there was a problem". Multiple devices and browsers, turned off my ad blocker etc and still it is just a car crash of a website for me right now.

This site has always been noticeably slow compared to every other site i visit, always, but right now it is borderline unusable.

Colo = YYZ .... an airport ......
Yes, there's a good reason for that: colocation data centres are usually at or near airports for logistics and maintenance purposes.

If I remember rightly, mine's London Heathrow (LHR), although I'm quite some way away!

I'm not seeing any issues with the site infrastructure nor have I noticed any issues myself, though we have been fending off a fairly significant bot attack from Asia over the past week. As I've mentioned previously, logging in will bypass most of the caching mechanisms designed to make the site fast, but the wildly different geographic locations of those of you experiencing the issue suggests some type of routing or networking issue.

Yeah it is weird but really annoying, so many blank screens or "oops we have a problem" error codes.

UI am now in office (i go in once a week) so totally different network and so far just the one occasion where I got the blank white screen, otherwise the site works ok.

OK more confusion, this thread appears fine but the Daily Race thread in GT7 forum is nothing but white screen of death 90% of the time. There is definitely something funky with the back end of this web site, it is by a million miles the slowest site I visit, no contest, even at 500mbs it is slow and laggy at the best of times.

It's working better for me now. Still getting the occasional blank screen but nowhere near as frequently as before.
