I think I still have you added on GTP_LancerEvo7, you can just send it there if that would be easier for you.

Question:
In the Mazda Sprint Race, is power unrestricted, or restricted-- and is the use of a power limiter allowed in the stock power categories? I feel like setting the ultimate fast lap this time around. :lol:

I really frown upon using the limiter as it gives you a torque advantage. I'd like for everyone to have a bone stock TC model that wants to participate.

Here's how the room will be set for each round:

- Under 200hp, Sport Hard, No aids except abs, no weight limit
- Over 200hp, Sport Medium, No aids except abs, no weight limit
- TC Model, Sport Soft, No aids except abs, power & weight set at stock numbers
 
I'll choose my Miata friday.


Is there any model we must absolutely avoid?

i.e., my replica MX-5 Cup car will fit?
 
Any models allowed, within their respective classes listed on the filer. So any street based car under 200hp, then any street based car over 200hp, then TC models only in the final hour.
 
Hey guys I will have a room open at the normal time this Saturday with a new track I just put together. No prizes or anything and It'll only be open for a couple hours but everyone is welcome to swing by and try it out. 👍

As for the MX-5 Cup car I made, it fits perfect. :)
 
Nope, not related at all. I'll just have a room open for doing some laps in various cars and inviting anyone to come along if they want.

Remember last time? Your room was full 90% of the time... Seems like inviting more people = making a second account, buying new PS3, and maybe buying new TV (unless you already have all of those other ones.)
 
Room is OPEN for a couple hours, open track 600pp or less up to Sport Soft tire. Track is a new course creator track, small and narrow. I will not be changing the track. We can also run some 5 lap races if anyone is interested. No prizes will be given out.

Firin' up the PS3 right now.

I got a new chair, and its slightly taller than the last one I used, so I'm not accustomed to where the pedals are. This will be good practice for me to get back up to speed. 👍
 
Thanks for hosting the track day on your new track. I loved running the RGT. I must say it is one of my favorite cars in the game. Overall I liked the track but one comment. In the RGT every turn was a 3rd gear turn. Now it does have a pretty long third gear but I felt the track could have used at least one tight turn. Just my $.02.
 
That's about as tight as I could get it. There are 2 things that really bug me about it that I tried for hours, literally, to try and fix them and to no avail. Turn 7 & Turn 8, there was absolutely no way to get the rumble strip on the inside of turn 7 to move forward to the apex of turn 8. Tried everything I could think of. Ditto with the rumble strips on the outside of turn 5. They need to be on the left side of turn 6 but I couldn't get them there.

I was actually using 2nd gear in the RUF I was driving. That thing is damn quick, but in stock form it understeers on exit like mad. Had to buy the adjustable center diff and turn it down some.

In stock form I only like the RGT, BTR and 3400. I find those three a blast. In the RGT and BTR you just need to wait for the rear end to settle before you go for it. I took out my fully tuned BTR and it was a mess. Got sideways in 4th going down the straight:crazy:
 
Do I need to download the Motegi DLC off the PSN Store in order to participate - I don't have it yet but can buy it before the weekend if I need to.
