Welcome! I expect R1600Turbo, being a good guy, will accept. :)

:lol: sorry 'bout not typing tree'd first day in this forum, and so far really enjoying it, a lot of nice people like you over here.

If all goes well, I might do one every couple weeks. I can change up the times a bit so that the room is open at the same time, but closes a couple hours later.

I hope so. Anyone driving like a maniac won't be around for long.

Not on GT5 to much, but this sounds like fun. If I'm around and remember I'll be there..

I'm confused as to the timing of this: it says 1pm PST is when the room opens, which by my calculation is around 9pm GMT, yet the countdown timer says there is 23 hours left, which makes it 9am tomorrow. :confused:

So this is at 4 PM Eastern then right? EST is 3 hours ahead of PST?

^^ Fixed. When in doubt, the advertised time is correct.
Quick Edit: Ignore first line, I forgot I'm at GMT +1, sorry.
Are you sure?, according to my calculations the timer is still 1 hour wrong (later).

PST = GMT + 8 hours

So, for those that want to know;
1PM PST = 9PM GMT
6PM PST = 2AM GMT (Sunday)

Hopefully I'm not wrong.

You're wrong. PST is GMT -8, not +8. The track day will start exactly a day from now.

Yes you're right, sorry... I mean, my finger probably slipped from the - onto the + key without realizing it, stuff like that happens.

Actually, you were right with the times, I read your post wrong at first. 👍

I registered yesterday, why am i not in the currently register drivers list? :odd:

I'm sure Turbo just hasn't updated it yet.. don't worry. Are we allowed to switch cars? Or should we just stick to one car?

Because R1600Turbo has either been busy, or not seen your post.

I'll edit this post.

Oh god, I only have an hour and a half to prepare a car.

R1600Turbo
Room will be open in 1 hour. Room number will be posted at the top of the first post when that time comes.

Aww i thought it was opening now:-(

Slight change in the way I will be choosing winners for prizes. Instead of drawing out of a hat I will be using Random.org to randomly choose the numbers. Easier for me.

Wow you have a lot of posts. Does it matter if we drive a really slow car

Are there overtaking rules or general track rules:-).

24,700 posts isn't much when you spread it over 10 years. ;)

Just be careful around other cars. We're not racing so no need to push the issue. If a faster car is coming up behind you, best to find a good spot and slow down to let them by.

All the rules for this first one are a bit sketchy but for future track days I'll have it all ironed out.
