hey all!!
i was just wondering out of the gtp members (cause your all the best gt3 players anyway) whats your fastest time on monacco?? i have achieved a 1.12.ooo but cannot get any faster i used a modified fumes setup from gt vault but cant get any quicker so if anyone has then id love to know how they did it and there setup....i was using the poly 001???:irked:

1'17.5 in a fully modded 787b

1'09.6 in a F094/S Which I think is the same car as the Poly 001. Can't recall though.

15.7/17.5
47/47
7/7
10/7
1.6/1.3
.5/-1.0
18/10
15/30/15
4.689
auto: 24
1.00/1.50
TCS: 3

I know that these times are not the fastest either.

1.09.6 damn thats fast!!
hmm keen to c what people are gettin in the 001 though the F094/S is 813 after run in so they must be the same ill try your setup c what i can pull...havent tried in the 787b but i know mines quick so might give it a try...i completed the game ages ago so all i do is setups and times now
..

a bit under 2 mins in a fiat

i guess thats good for a fiat but seriously people common???

yeah ive been there but i was interested to know what times gtp members where gettin, so i could get some feedback on there times.

i did it in a race lm RX7 mazda in 1'11.054

Hey quick question, can race times on gt3 monaco be compared to times in real life monaco?

No.

Fastest GT3 lap of Monaco - 1'07, 1994 Williams.
Fastest RL lap of Monaco - 1'14, Kimi Raikonnen 2003 McLaren...

Theres always been the debate of "do gt3 times compare to real life", and i think they do to an extent cause gt3 cars dont have the variables to conscider when the setups are made up. In real life u have to conscider tyre wear, fuel consumption, relaibility and driveability... im sure theres more just cant think at the moment. So im sure mclaren could have set Kimi's car to go faster than 1.14.545 but he probably wouldnt have seen the end of the race and those valuable 8 points.. but i just started this thread to get info on how i could get quick lap times i have since done a 1.10.xxx cant remember actual time off my head... but ill keep this thread going cause its cool to c what other times people can achive.. and then c if i can beat them ...muhahaha ...sorry:confused:

Im surprised this hasnt been moved to Spot Races in the Online Racing Forum. I think you can move it there, and just issue a challenge to all GTP'ers and see whats the best they can do in a F094/S ( Poly 001 ) on Cote. I dont have a time for you because I never tried it. If I have time, I'll try it out.

Yeah it probably should be but its only been up here for a day and its got some reasonable feedeback sooooooo....i think ill leave is till the moderators have something to say which im sure will be soon

i also would like to know how people get round laguna so quick ive doe a 1.02.xxx and i thought that was damn quick now im hearing of people doing sub minute lap times ARRRGH!! maybe i should give up and learn to love the tranquility in driving my pink yaris...i dunno??

I ran a 1.03.705 at Laguna Seca with the Mazda 787B...haven't tried it in an F1 yet.

A few years ago it was more comparable though...:p

Except it's not. Kimi Raikonnen's lap is an all-time lap record for Monaco.

It should be noted that Cote d'Azur may look like Monaco, but it's actually not. It's significantly shorter, for a start.

Plus the last section has been changed alot in rescent years due to safety issues ...just like practically every track in the f1 calender

I got 1:14.737 in a F090s.

1:11 in an RX7 is simply amazing. How did you do that Ash3rs?

I'm afraid it boils down to:

1. He didn't
2. The poor car's scraped to buggery. And he didn't.
3. A hybrid. And the poor car's scraped to buggery.

Fastest FR times at Racing-Line (and the second one has been verified by replay):
1 Taf France Toyota Supra Denso Sard JGTC Steering Wheel 01.17.306 20 02 Mar 2003 PAL
2 Jeff USA Toyota Supra Denso Sard JGTC Analogue Controller 01.18.096 19 15 Feb 2003 NTSC
3 big p Spanish/German Toyota Supra Denso Sard JGTC Joypad 01.18.655 18 10 Oct 2002 PAL

It's a file for a device called a Sharkport (sometimes called X-port also), which allows to to transfer files from your memory card to your computer and vice versa, among other things. Most people who do online racing have them to prove their times. Costs about $25 US,but they are tough to find in some places. Plus you can do all the hybrids and all that if that's your thing.

That's what I suspected, but I always try to let them dig their hole deeper before confronting them.

if you guys are running 1'14s in your f090 then the oil must be very effective. My oil light came on on lap 2 in that endurance. The fastest lap i ran was 1'27.3XX.

Hmm, You must not be changing your oil before each race.
Every chance i get to change my oil i do, but i know what u mean about the oil thing, hopefully gt4 will allow oil changes between races in a series.
But as for endurances i can usually go about half distance maybe more before i see an oil light.
