What this is about:
So as you can see, this is a thread for the true Wangan lovers out there, We need to take back special stage route 7!, It is not for tunnel drags, that is not it's original purpose, it is for high speed, late night through early morning japanese freeway runs, at blazing speeds, If anyone is interested please join the group. this is for a good cause.👍

I'm so tired of seeing SS7 with just tunnel drags or "Honda civic-integra" meets..:grumpy: I'm also thinking about a kanjo racing club for SS5(just for fwd hondas,Civic,integra,fit,accord). Now down to business, Who is in?

if you joined already nothing, but i did make a room in SS7 online right now, it's called GTP wangan club, stop on in.

But, the point is, how do I wangan?
I mean, I've seen some of the series, played the arcade game and perfectly know what a wangan is.

I just don't know how to do it on GT5:lol:.

Since there is no true outrun mode on GT5, it just be sectioned races for different classes of cars, 500pp-600 and other fun wagan things, im also really thinking about a kanjo racing add on for the honda guys on SS5. since thats a kanjo type highway.

Awesome runs guys! Pretty much TXR-a-like. We had wanderers, bosses and all. LOL Black R34 from hell (KAMIKAZE is hella fast!), a very quick IS-F, the classy golden Top Secret Supra from Torque making burnouts and a stupid red Audi that almost killed all of us. LOL

My "darkgreenbird" will go back to the lab. Those brakes aren't ok. Car from 1987, you gotta keep the eyes open with its maintenance. LOL

Amazing night. Let's do it again.
 
Of course lol, and that audi...came out of no where... and yes my classic smokey nagata burn outs lol. and kazes crazy fast R34.... and your well tuned D.G.B. had a fun night, but i do hope some more people join up.

I'll be on, nightly, around 10p CST. I'd love to join, but I usually play late at night after everyone else has gone to bed. If you're hosting tonight, post up the room number here, and I'll check before I log on.

I'm in. I have a mean SL55 AMG that is capable of 230MP/H with the stock 5-speed auto.
 
Good good welcome, we had a great time last night, it was very fun, yes tazj tonight i will create another room tonight at 10:00(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) in SS7

Room title is GTP wangan club. it will be 650 pp, no tire restrictions. The cars vary from all types with in that PP range, just no race cars.

So tazj welcome back.

Mclaren welcome and korza welcome :)

**UPDATE**

New GTP wangan outrun mode.

GTP Outrun mode is 1vs1 cars. the way you can set it up is for example,say you and
guy you want to run with are stopped, you can say i want to start at (total time)2:35:XX and end at 2:36:XX (total race time) But if he gets in front and outruns you during that time he will win, Basically 2:35:XX - 2:36:XX(total time) is the time that you have to do your own personal 1 on 1 outrun race, you have with in that time to take the lead, who ever is in front at the end of the total race time wins.

This is basically Like the outrun mode in TXR series, same concept, just going on total time of the race, (NOT) the elasped time in the middle of the screen, Total time above best lap.
