I don't know what's happening tonight but I think the servers are overloaded by the many downloads.
In the end my PS3 froze. Hopefully everything works fine on Saturday.

Bathurst was a DISASTER . We had six...I got frozen out. PASM waited while I shut down, rebooted....and then he got DCd...we started after he came back with 6 I think. PASM DCd first and then two others...I quit as did the others. We went to Brands...the combo is GREAT. Suggest that for NA and WW.

Yep bathurst is still full of bugs :-( such a shame.. it's excellent circuit. I hope they will repair soon. Brands hatch was fun, but very difficult. I have some big scary moments in race one at lap 7 and 8. Big sideways :-) thanks for cool evening guys.

Well i should have read this earlier. It is installing at the moment, 30 min to go ....:banghead:
Take note all NA drivers....the upgrade takes FOREVER....be warned. LOL

Also if you do Brands...no resetting tune...run what you brung...made it VERY interesting...even more so if you do not take any practice laps. We did three sprint races of around 8 laps...much more fun as we only had 5 or 6 players.

Yes, the Brands Hatch sprints were great!

I had a new one at Bathurst though: It looked like everyone DC'd, and I was the only one left in the race. But I could still talk to everyone else and they were all still racing together. So we basically had two different races going on simultaneously in the same lobby.

I'll confirm that it is a lengthy install - approximately 20 minutes after the download. The PS3 time estimator seems to have gone batty; it reported wildly inaccurte estimates for both the install of the main update and the download of the "stealth" update...

The PS3 time estimator has NEVER been accurate. It can be sometimes, but not often.

Yes make sure you get the update going early!

NOTE ***** We will be racing at Brands Hatch GP tonight with the same car as planned. Lobby will be open 1 hour before the NA scheduled start time.

NA Room is open. 1472-4710-9995-5398-0052

Seeing as we really have not had any time to test on Brands Hatch, we request that you leave the tune the same as you had for the TT and or your previous practice sessions at Panorama.

Here are the results for yesterday's races. Turned out the car was very well suited to Brands Hatch, and the racing was close.

Congrats Drew on the win in NA 👍

For the Worldwide Weekend slot we are preparing a full length race where tire and fuel wear will be a factor, to celebrate the fact that the tire bug is fixed :D

Worldwide race room is open. We're racing 31 laps + 1 formation lap. Fuel/tire wear at very fast will require 2 pit stops, with about 140 L of fuel needing to be added in total.

That was a fun race today, fun car on a track I am really starting to like. It was nice to have pit stops back in the racing again. Nice win Bart, and it was nice to have Jon race with us again and get second.

Thanks for a great race yesterday! Congratulations to Jon and Patrick for your podium finishes 👍 Good racing everyone

Here are the results:

After a not so good quali I had a great race from lap 2 on to the finish. Made a mistake to overtake at the wrong side and ended up in the grass and at the back of the field. From then on no mistakes and progressed through the field and after the last pitstop I was just in front of @Strop and from the moment I lapped @EWeinbauer I could manage a good gap until the finish without pushing to much. Very happu with my result this race. @PASM congratulations with the win.

I was, more or less, expecting my results this week since I was still tweaking my tune seconds before the qualifying. And I had not practiced at all on BH. :(

I wiped out in the first lap coming out of the hairpin (again). Then, laid down some consistent laps after that until the lap right before my first pit. I knew I should have pitted earlier, but I was trying to unlap myself. I wanted to pit and grab a half tank, but I mistakenly accepted a full tank. After that it was just a race to unlap myself once. I missed that by 1 second.

Still, all in all, the most fun I have in this game is racing with all of you. Thanks for the great racing! :gtpflag:

Some pictures from the WW race. Enjoy!👍
